This Morning I Woke Up Today In This Morning refers to a copypasta spawned by a viral video of Twitch streamer Hayden Jang (also known as Jang Hayden or janghayden) nonsensically rambling at fellow streamer tiffanobi who was accusing him of gaslighting and manipulating her. Originally going viral on TikTok in October 2023, the video gained memetic usage on the platform and spread via the copypasta that surfaced on sites like Reddit.
Origin
On July 26th, 2023, the YouTube[1] channel of tiffanobi posted a then-recent stream with Hayden Jang. The video received roughly 25,000 views in three months. At the video's 5:13-minute mark (shown below), tiffanobi says to Jang, "Stop manipulating me," causing Jang to rant nonsensically at her.

Jang's rant became the later copypasta, reading:
This morning I woke up today in this morning and the morning I woke up this morning I woke up and remember that every morning that I wake up I re- I woke up that f--king day just remember that!
Spread
On August 9th, 2023, TikToker[2] @tiffanobi.fan posted the aforementioned clip in a video, gaining roughly 3.9 million plays and 787,900 likes in two months (shown below, left). Despite @tiffanobi.fan's video and the late July 2023 origin, the clip and Jang's rant didn't become a predominant meme trend until late September 2023, directly following a Corecore edit posted by TikToker[3] @blvze.0 on September 30th, which received over 10.2 million plays and 2.1 million likes in 13 days (shown below, right).

Going into October 2023, usage of the clip continued to gain traction, such as in a video posted by TikToker[4] @prolemon11 on October 1st, 2023, which read, "Real," gaining roughly 1.5 million plays and 280,300 likes in 12 days (shown below, left). On October 3rd, 2023, TikToker[5] @kewlcakes posted the video with text reading, "me trying to make my essays longer," receiving roughly 2.2 million plays and 482,000 likes in 10 days (shown below, right).

The videos and memes then spread to YouTube[6] during the same timeframe. Also, on October 3rd, 2023, the copypasta was added to /r/copypasta[7] by Redditor combuterscientist, gaining over 30 upvotes in 10 days.
