"Time of the Month Tiger" is an image macro that features a roaring tiger superimposed on a 6-part rainbow background with captions that express the monthly horror that is menstruation.
A blog was created, timeofthemonthtiger.tumblr.com, that debuted the meme on the 29th of August in 2010. It quickly garnered a fair amount of followers, and has since grown to a fairly popular meme among the tumblr community, and has gotten attention from other blogs and domains.
It was announced on tumblr that a book will soon be published. The release date is not known yet, and they are currently accepting submissions.
