On April 18th, 2025, X[1] / Twitter user @garshmo tweeted, "To the untrained eye you may think it's so over," likely meaning, "to the untrained eye it may appear it's so over." The post (shown below) garnered over 11 million views, 7,400 reposts and 38,000 likes in four days.

Later on April 18th, 2025, X[2] user @gonerboner quoted the post with the comment "Jesus dying on the cross." The joke (shown below) received over 6.7 million views, 24,000 reposts and 215,000 likes in four days.

In the following days, users on X paired the tweet with images from various games and other media in which a character seemed to be on the brink of immediate defeat, but was actually about to make a comeback.

Later on April 21st, X[4] user @QuirklessStoner posted a Monster Hunter meme based on the catchphrase that received over 4,500 reposts and 60,000 likes in one day (shown below).
