Tractor Goth Girl is a viral image of goth girl and TikToker @gutknot sitting in a tractor, taken from a viral video on TikTok in which she drives it on a farm. The photo spread on Twitter in late June 2022 and has been used as source material for image macros and Whisper memes.

Origin

On June 23rd, 2022, TikToker^[1] and Twitch streamer @gutknot, a goth girl, posted a video of herself climbing into a combine harvester, starting it and driving off. The video, set to the song "International Harvester" by Craig Morgan, gained over 3.3 million views and 690,000 likes in four days (shown below).

Spread

On June 23rd, 2022, Twitter^[2] user @Spinachbrah posted a still frame of @gutknot sitting in the cabin of the harvester, smiling. The post gained over 13,700 retweets and 151,300 likes in four days (shown below, left). Later that day, Twitter^[3] user @dgarciaguzman_ posted a Whisper meme based on the image, captioning it, "need a goth farmer gf." The post (shown below, right) gained over 800 retweets and 7,400 likes in four days.

Later on June 23rd, @gutknot, writing from her Twitter^[4] account @ssssludge, quote tweeted the image, confirming that it was her. The tweet gained over 9,400 retweets and 134,800 likes in four days.

In the following days, the image of @gutknot in the harvester gained virality as the source material for memes. For example, on June 24th, 2022, Twitter^[5] user @raccoonology made a Whisper meme referencing the Is It Really Possible for an Emo Girl and a Country Boy to Be in a Relationship meme format that gained over 1,200 retweets and 11,600 likes in three days. On June 25th, 2022, Twitter^[6][7] user @p0rktopus posted two fan art images of farmer goth girls inspired by the @gutknot's video.
