Trans Girls Fucking Pumpkins or Trans Women Fucking Pumpkins refers to a series of memes implying that transgender women have sex with pumpkins. The memes, which often depict a pumpkin with a hole cut into it, are inspired by an adult video of a trans woman masturbating using a pumpkin that was posted in 2018 and went viral in 2021. Memes referencing trans women and pumpkins are largely seasonal and tend to go viral every autumn as Halloween approaches. The memes garnered some backlash in October 2023 when an X user posted an image of Guilty Gear character Bridget referencing the pumpkin meme, inspiring some to criticize people, especially cisgender people, who use the meme as fetishizing trans women.

Memes about trans women masturbating with pumpkins have appeared online throughout the late 2010s. On October 1st, 2017, Redditor u/With_Sunflower_Eyes posted a piece of artwork by artist Abby Lupine to /r/traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns^[1] depicting a trans girl witch having sex with a pumpkin, titled, "I like Halloween and October too," garnering over 270 upvotes and 50 comments in six years (shown below, censored). It is unclear where Lupine originally posted the artwork. No unobscured nudity was present in the original artwork.

On October 16th, 2018, PornHub user MumblingMeadows posted a video titled "Worst Halloween Special Ever: Trans Girl Fucks a Pumpkin" in which, she, a trans woman, has sex with a pumpkin, garnering over 484,000 views in five years. A screenshot of the video began to go viral as early as November 1st, 2021, when a screenshot of the video was posted to iFunny.^[2]

The image continued to gain viral spread over the following years. For example, on October 17th, 2022, Redditor u/AngelaTheAngel posted a screenshot of the video and its title to /r/traaNSFW,^[3] titled, "Still have to get mine!" garnering over 970 upvotes in a year (shown below).

Memes referencing the video of MumblingMeadows having sex with the pumpkin became increasingly popularized over the following years. On October 25th, 2022, X^[4] user @Squeakfu posted a photo of a pumpkin with a hole in it, writing, "Dear trans community: how does this image make you feel," garnering over 7,800 likes and 740 retweets in a year (shown below, left). On October 26th, a now-deleted Redditor posted a Piper Perri Surrounded meme to /r/196^[5] referencing the joke, garnering over 3,100 upvotes in a year (shown below, right).

On October 29th, 2022, Tumblr^[6] user CandyCornStudio posted a redraw of Wow. I Really Shouldn't Stick My Penis in There. However using Bridget from Guilty Gear, garnering around 50 likes and 10 retweets in a year (shown below). CandyCornStudio would later post it to Tumblr^[7] on November 8th, receiving over 2,300 likes and 1,100 reposts in a year.

2023 Trans Girl Pumpkin Sex Discourse

On October 4th, 2023, X^[8] user @nyanberryy reposted the Bridget artwork, garnering over 8,500 likes in five days. The post inspired some backlash in the quote-reposts and comments, particularly criticizing people who make the trans pumpkin jokes as fetishizing the trans community and depicting them as sexual deviants (examples from X^[9][10][11] shown below). The post also inspired redraws and photoshops of the original piece of art.
