About

Origin
On September 9th, 2011, the delargetyler YouTube channel uploaded a video titled "Tylers Last Words. (Right before he killed himself)" (shown below). The video shows a young man singing a melancholic song dedicated to a person named "Victoria". After he finishes, he aims a handgun towards his head, at which point the video abruptly ends.
The video description reads, "This is my brother's last song to his wife. As he requested in his note. I'm sorry if this offends anyone. I love my brother and I owe this to him."
Spread
For many years, the video's view count remained relatively low. However, the video received a spike in attention in July 2018, receiving 313,000 daily views at its peak. As of August 2018, the video has over 953,000 views. On July 10th, Redditor greenbaymackey submitted the video to the /r/videos[1] subreddit, where several Redditors replied that they had seen the content recommended on YouTube. On July 27, 2018, the ScareTheater YouTube channel uploaded an episode analyzing the video along with YouTuber Reagan Wolf (shown below).
