About
UK Poo is a satirical genre of U.K. rap music defined by low-budget DIY production, awkward rhymes and flows, heavy use of autotune, and other characteristics that make the song sound unprofessional and awkward.
The term "UK poo" was coined by X / Twitter user and artist @cashyams in mid-July 2026. The tongue-in-cheek genre was popularized on TikTok and X in late July 2026 and became increasingly prevalent throughout early August. One of the most notable songs in the genre is "Come Slap Me Again" by Savvy.
