About

When That Cold Brew Hits refers to parodies of an online advertisement for the animated film Arctic Dogs. In the advertisement, a bear from the film--PB, played by Alec Baldwin--takes a sip of what appears to be iced coffee then rides a sled down a snowy hill, off a ramp, and flies into the distance. The scene features the text, "When that cold brew hits." The advertisement was mocked in ironic memes in online communities, similar to When Guac Is Extra.

CGI cartoons by small studios often go like this:
-A bunch of artists and animators make a pitch
-Some rich mediocre producer that needs to make more movies to fill his portfolio in the free time buys the idea
-Mediocre producer asks for connections from his big producer friends, get's the money and celebs and maybe some shares if it sell more tickets than expected
-Mediocre producer hires a bunch of small below average marketing/publicity to do some field research, most of these researchers are fresh out of college and they only pretend to know what they are talking about because they are not specialized in any field (for real, i worked for this kind fo people)
-As expected the research team has a very superficial view of movie making, so they just say "Huummmm! Disney sold well…Soo… More like Disney?"
-"Can't you be more specific?"
-"Huuuum… I mean… I has a fox right? Be like that movie with the fox and the bunny… That was very epic, i think!"
-"What aspects of the movie we should try?
-"Be…Just be like that… You already paid our contract anyway just pay us! Bye!"
-Producer changes everything about the pitch, steals concepts from Shrek/Frozen or whatver is hot right now and then the movie flops
And this is why every indepent animation studios just makes movies that feel like Dreaworks/Disney ripp offs, but worse, when they had the chance of making something unique on their own
