Which Boy Do You Think Got Enough Sleep? is an exploitable that is usually shared with a humorous caption from Tumblr post. The image has inspired several fan redraws using different characters.
Origin
On January 4th, 2014, Tumblr user generic-art[1] first posted an image of two boys, one grouchy, one happy, with the caption, "Which boy do you think got enough sleep?" (shown below).
The image was reblogged on March 10th, 2015, by Tumblr user professorgo,[2] who added the following text:
"The guy on the left, since he shows clear disgust with having his picture taken suddenly without permission. The guy on the right has had so little sleep that his grip on reality and emotions has left him"
The post (shown below) received over 246,000 likes and over 371,000 reblogs in nine years.
Spread
The image and Tumblr caption evolved into a meme format, featuring various characters. On March 19th, 2019, a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure variant was posted on Memedroid by Lord_Joker, and received over 680 reactions in 3 years (shown below, left).[3] On February 2022, Wattpad user Tona_Reindeer shared a My Hero Academia edit (shown below, right), alongside other memes about the series. The post received over 2,400 reads and over 65 stars in a year.[4]
