Whose Goddamn White Baby Is That? is a memorable quote spoken by comedian and actor Katt Williams's character Darren in the 2014 movie School Dance. In the film, Darren's love interest, played by actress Tiffany Haddish, brings two children, including a white baby, to prison to visit him, and he says, "Whose goddamn white baby is that?"

In December 2019, TikToker @tygerty_929 uploaded a lip dub video set to the scene's audio, which became a prominent original sound for further lip dub videos over the following years. Many people use the audio to make lighthearted jokes about mixed-race babies and couples, or mixed-race couples to proudly show their babies. It is also used in pet videos of animals, mostly dogs, who have puppies that look significantly different from the mother.

On July 2nd, 2014, the film School Dance was released. In one scene, Darren's love interest Trina comes to visit him in prison with her two sons. One is a Black teenage boy, and the other is a white baby. Trina gets the baby to say hi to Darren, and he asks, "Whose goddamn white baby is this?" Trina tries to convince him that the baby is his and that he's just light-skinned, but Darren accuses Trina of having conjugal visits with other prisoners.^[1]

On December 28th, 2019, TikToker^[2] @tygerty_929 posted a lip dub video and POV meme set to the audio from the scene, writing in the description, "POV: you have no money but u just had another baby, so u trying to get child support out of me," garnering over 70,000 views in six years.

The original sound for @tygerty_929's video was popularized on TikTok in the 2020s, inspiring over 27,000 uses by December 2025. The sound is often used in videos that make jokes about mixed-race babies, including animals that have babies with significantly different looks or patterns from the parents

On June 26th, 2021, TikToker^[3] @mikedolch posted a video of a black dog who is approached by a white puppy, presumably her puppy, over the sound, garnering over 7 million views in four years.

On January 18th, 2022, TikToker^[4] @chasidy.vanderhoof posted a similar video of a black dog with all black puppies except for one, garnering over 21 million views in three years.

On May 8th, 2024, TikToker^[5] @makayla.domagalski1 posted a video of her baby, in which she and her partner lip dub to the audio, garnering over 43 million views in a year.
