With Your Teeth refers to an animation meme based on a scene from the Captain Underpants TV show The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants in which Mr. Krupp tells Harold and George to mow the entire football field with their teeth. The reanimation trend became prevalent on YouTube starting in mid-2022 but became increasingly viral in 2023.

Origin

On July 13th, 2018, season 1, episode 5 of The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants titled "Captain Underpants and the Terrifying Perilious Misfortune of the T.P. Mummy" premiered on Netflix. ^[1] In one scene from the episode, Mr. Krupp confronted Harold and George and told them to mow the entire football field with their teeth. They both continued to ask him, "How do we do that?" to which Mr. Krupp kept repeating, "With your teeth!" (YouTube^[2] upload shown below).

On July 18th, 2022, YouTuber^[3] Lauty Stuff uploaded the first known meme to use the scene, re-animating the scene in their own original style. Over the course of 10 months, the video gained roughly 46,600 views and 1,500 likes (shown below).

Spread

Soon after, on July 19th, 2022, YouTuber^[4] tort uploaded their own re-animation of the scene, gaining roughly 4,900 views and 250 likes in 10 months, becoming the first known variant of the trend (shown below, left). On September 3rd, 2022, YouTuber^[5] ★My animations★ added their own animation to the trend, gaining roughly 23,900 views and 770 likes in eight months (shown below, right).

Going into early 2023, the iterations became increasingly viral. For instance, on April 6th, 2023, YouTuber^[6] turtledoesstuff posted an animation that gained roughly 287,300 views and 12,000 likes in one month (shown below).

Soon after, iterations started to spread to TikTok, ^[7] among other video platforms.
