The meme refers to a wordplay with Uber's company name, as it sounds phonetically similar to the actual phrase "Tu Ver[dadero]" (read together as "Tuber").

The meme was popularized on social media a few months later around October 2019, receiving variations of other animals driving cars with the phrase overlayed in the images. For example, on Octonb23 29th, 2019, Facebook^[2] user doggie.mexico posted an image of a chihuahua with its paws in a steering wheel and the text in Spanish "Ya llegó tu Uber, tuberdadero amor.
