About

Yo! Noid 2: Enter the Void (or simply Yo! Noid 2) is a fanmade sequel to the original Yo! Noid from 1990. It was made for the New Jam City Game Jam competition held in 2017. In 2018, it was given a "Game of a Year" edition.

Origin

On August 1st, 2017, Yo! Noid 2: Enter the Void was released for PC and Mac as part of the New Jam City Game Jam held in the same year.

Gameplay

The game uses inspiration from 5th generation console games. It has 4 levels and 1 boss (whom I won't spoil for those who haven't played this game because it's so clever). The game lets you use a Yo-Yo as a grappling hook to swing on and pull things.

Game of a Year Edition

On June 28th, 2018, Yo! Noid 2: Game of a Year Edition was released for PC. The changes made were:
-A new pause menu
-A Remastered video option (removes the CRT video filter and mades the game run in a full aspect ratio rather than 4:3)
-4 unlockable characters
-A secret ending
