Origin

Nintendo released Super Mario Sluggers on June 19th, 2008. The Yoshi dance comes from the loading screen of the game (shown below).^[1]

On July 23rd, 2021, MC Kaique da VP released "E QUE HOJE VAI TER FESTINHA," aka "TACA A XERECA PRA MIM," gaining over 3.8 million views on YouTube.

On September 4th, 2021, Twitter user @Nsuspenso posted a clip pairing Yoshi and the song, though it only gained 1,200 views (shown below).
