Your Resistance Only Makes My Penis Harder is a Failsub commonly associated with a screenshot of the half-human-half-horse character Stallion from the adult 1999 anime series Words Worth. An image macro combining the two appeared online as early as 2004 on YTMND, becoming popularized on the 4chan boards /b/ and /a/ in the years following, as well as appearing in and inspiring further image macros.

Origin

Between August 1999 and November 2000, a five-part hentai special titled Words Worth,^[1] based on the RPG of the same name, was released in Japan. On June 11th, 2004, YTMND^[2] user scottv007 posted a webpage consisting of an image macro showing the character Stallion^[3] from the series, a "lecherous half-horse, half-human officer" who frequently kidnaps and rapes women, getting excited when they struggle, over a horse sound effect with text reading, "Your Resistance Only Makes My Penis Harder" (shown below). The site gained over 4,700 views in 17 years and is the earliest known use of the image macro.

The image macro soon spread to imageboards, particularly 4chan boards /b/ (random) and /a/ (anime). The Lurk More^[4] page for "Your resistance only makes my penis harder!" says of the meme's origins on 4chan:

Part of the humour around the meme is that horses (particularly horse cock) is a rather touchy subject with many Anonymous, especially in the non-worksafe boards like /b/ and /gif/ where it is viewed with hatred and horror. Naturally, it became funny to spam the image around just to upset people, though it's also funny because horse rape is just too weird. Many Anonymous now think of Stallion whenever they see horses in anime, and cries of "RESISTANCE!" are not uncommon when one happens to appear.

The sentence took off as a catchphrase online over the course of the next decade, often attached to images of horses or other characters striking similar expressions to Stallion (examples shown below, left and right).^[5][6]

On July 29th, 2011, Lurkmo.re^[9] user Anotubus posted a redrawn version of the meme depiction Stallion as a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic character (shown below). It is unknown who created this image.

On July 20th, 2016, DeviantArt^[7] user MinekoLucky posted a redrawn version of the screenshot featuring Stallion as Mudsdale from Pokemon. That day, the catchphrase was added to it in a draw thread on /vp/ and uploaded to Know Your Meme^[8] (shown below).
