3D Artist Turns Big Slappy Meme Into A 'Team Fortress 2' Cosmetic

The Big Slappy, a Team Fortress 2 meme about Scout's curvaceous and not at all bony Boston butt, now has a chance of being added to the video game after a modder submitted it to the Steam Workshop.

On Monday, 3D artist Coolchou Zhao blessed the Steam Workshop with a new cosmetic that will definitely be a sight for sore eyes for any meme-loving Team Fortress 2 fan — the famed Big Slappy.

Scout's comically large butt, which is a direct reference to a classic TF2 (and Jerma985) meme, has already been favorited over 200 times so far, and it also went viral within the game's community on Twitter.

The Big Slappy meme was inspired by a spray of Scout taken from a very peculiar angle, uploaded to Gamebanana way back in 2008. It got its name, "Big Slappy," from a March 2016 Tumblr post and has remained a popular meme in the Team Fortress community ever since.

The Steam Workshop page for the mod also offers some quality promotional art for the suggested item.

Since garnering attention online, the memetic mod has resulted in many proclaiming, "Valve, add this please!"
