Rappers Eminem and Snoop Dogg have collaborated on a new song called “From the D 2 The LBC” and a music video featuring Bored Apes owned by each of them.

In the video, Snoop Dogg smokes marijuana in the studio and Eminem seemingly gets a contact high, morphing into his Bored Ape as he flies through a colorful cartoon world.

The two introduced the new music video on the final day of 2022’s much-memed ApeFest in New York City. Along with other acts such as Madonna and Amy Schumer, the two legendary rappers brought a dose of star power to the event.

Many Apes on the ground attending the event reacted enthusiastically to the news.

There were significant portions of non-Apes who seemed to find the entire thing kind of unsettling or cringeworthy.

As many expected, ApeFest was also full of many memorable (and memeable) moments.

Whether featuring Bored Apes in a big music video from aging rappers will help cement the NFT collection and social club in the public mind remains to be seen.
