FromSoftware fans may have to turn their prayers to the most visibly terrible player of the company's games: Twitch streamer Kai Cenat.

For nearly a decade, FromSoftware fans have been begging the company to do something with its 2015 masterpiece, Bloodborne, whether that be something as ambitious as a Bloodborne 2 or a simple remaster or PC port of the original game.

Yesterday, Cenat announced that he would begin a full Bloodborne playthrough on August 2nd, replete with a teaser video referencing the game's opening cutscene.

More interesting for FromSoft fans is what he tweeted next:

This for the entire FromSoft Community who’ve been wishing for a remaster on this game and been wanting it on PC , many of you think I could make something shake…LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Kai Cenat's bloodborne tweet

Cenat's Elden Ring stream was a massive success, drawing an average of 86,000 views in a three-day marathon stream. It's unclear how Cenat would somehow get FromSoftware to revisit Bloodborne. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki has been frustratingly coy about the future plans for the IP, much to the chagrin of the fanbase.

However, Cenat does have a lot of eyeballs and a lot of money, so there could be reason for optimism that his influence could persuade Sony and FromSoft to look into doing something with Bloodborne — though it could just as easily mean nothing at all.

Still, Cenat's comment was a crumb for desperate Bloodborne fans, who seemed to feel that a tweet from Kai Cenat is more reason to believe in Bloodborne's future than anything FromSoft has said recently.

Time will tell if Cenat will earnestly work to make a Bloodborne PC port, or anything else Bloodborne-related, happen, or if his comment was just a way to hype up his stream.
