In a bizarre turn of events, a Korean gambler calling himself "Hitler TV" has hijacked Timothée Chalamet's Xbox controller modding channel on YouTube that he used to run as a teen.

On May 27th, a South Korean gambler streamer calling himself "Hitler TV" and using images of the führer in his thumbnails took over control of Timothée Chalamet's YouTube channel ModdedController360 that the actor was active on back in 2010. The hijacker, who later changed his name to Gino TV, has been streaming live baccarat and slots on the 36,000-subscriber-strong channel.

Since the hijacking, the number of subscribers on the channel dropped from just below 36,000 to slightly over 32,000 in a matter of weeks.

The hijacking was first noticed by a user on Twitter by the name of bendoverme on the same day it occurred.

In 2010, as a 14-year-old teenager, Chalamet was into modding Xbox 360 controllers, posting three videos of his paint jobs to YouTube. Nobody knew that it was actually Chalamet until in 2018 when an Instagram fan page noticed that Chalamet's old YouTube channel (another one) liked a few videos of ModdedController360's.

In late 2021, Motherboard proved beyond any doubt that the teen with a raspy voice showing off his painted controllers was indeed Chalamet, and a few days later Chalamet himself confirmed the theory.
