Edutainment YouTuber Sam O'Nella, known for his humorous but educational videos about cool factoids from history, biology and more, has uploaded his first YouTube video in nearly three years.

Announcing his comeback on Twitter with a simple "k im back," Sam O'Nella posted a video about the origins of animals' scientific names, which rose to two million views in about 12 hours.

Sam O'Nella, who refers to himself as "the stick figure from YouTube. no the other one," rose to YouTube fame in the late 2010s with videos on a variety of popular science and history topics, digging up amusing biographies and unique factoids about all sorts of things, from the "Emu War" to Tarrare.

Hey, kids.

The long-awaited comeback got people hyped not only on YouTube but also Twitter too. Sam O'Nella has been trending on the social media website since his return, outshining Dream's face reveal for his ever-hopeful fans.

In his new video, Sam O'Nella signed off by saying that he will "see us in 2025." Which is, hopefully, a joke.
