A debate about the ethics of hosting gambling streams on Twitch took a dire turn yesterday when one of the site's top streamers, Mizkif, was accused by Trainwreckstv of allegedly covering up a sexual assault. Now, he's been further accused by Ice Poseidon for purportedly sending racist and homophobic DMs.

The assault first came to light last year when streamer AdrianahLee posted a TwitLonger accusing another streamer, CrazySlick, of making unwanted advances on her while she was drunk at a party. She claims he attempted to kiss her multiple times and touched her breast while she was passed out drunk under the guise of "making sure she still had a pulse." CrazySlick is a member of OTK, a gaming organization formed by Mizkif and other top streamers, such as Asmongold. The assault came back into the limelight amid ongoing calls to ban gambling streams from Twitch.

Earlier this week, Twitch streamer Sliker was accused of scamming his fans, mods and fellow streamers out of roughly $300,000 over the course of three years to support his gambling addiction. Sliker would purportedly DM people claiming he had bills due and his bank account was locked, promising to pay them back but failing to do so.

This sparked a massive pile-on in the past few days where victims of the scam shared the messages Sliker sent them. He admitted to the scam on Sunday and blamed it on his gambling addiction, sparking a massive debate in the Twitch community about the ethics of allowing people to stream gambling on the site. Many streamers, including Pokimane, Hasan Piker and Mizkif, have since called for gambling streams to be banned from the site, with Pokimane's tweet asking users to "like if twitch should ban gambling" gaining over 300,000 likes in two days.

But Trainwreckstv, who gambles on Twitch for a living, had a different opinion. He took to Twitter on Sunday to defend gambling streams on the site, writing, "The people scapegoating SLOTS, BJ & ROULETTE and not blaming the individual, are the real problem." He then went on to say Sliker was addicted to sports betting. Trainwreckstv believes that the individual, Sliker, should be blamed rather than the entirety of the gambling streamer community.

Trainwrecks continued to defend gambling on Twitch in a comment on an Asmongold tweet where Asmongold wondered why Sliker still isn't banned on Twitch. Mizkif responded to the comment by calling out Trainwreck for his involvement in Jolt Coin, a cryptocurrency scam that Trainwreck promoted years ago, suggesting he should have been banned for it. Trainwrecks then fired back with a comment accusing Mizkif, his ex-girlfriend and streamer Maya Higa and Mitch Jones of covering up "sexual assaults." In the tweet, Trainwrecks wrote, "You want to come at me and make shit up, then you better be sure you don't live in a glass house you insecure pussy." Mizkif has since deleted his comment.

AdrianahLee talked about the situation on stream yesterday, confirming that the sexual assault in question was hers and that the TwitLonger post was a "diluted version of the story that was proofread by Maya [and] OTK." Since the news broke, Twitch streamers have been discussing and reacting to the story. An old clip of Mizkif seemingly calling the assault "not a big deal" has also been going viral on Reddit's /r/LiveStreamFail.

Amid the viral debate, streamer Ice Poseidon then posted a series of DMs to Twitter attempting to expose Mizkif for purportedly using racial and homophobic slurs in messages between the two. The messages date back between 2018 and 2019 and allegedly show Mizkif casually using the F-slur, N-word and a derogatory term for Spanish people. The tweet has gained over 56,000 likes since it was posted around 1 a.m. EST this morning. According to Keemstar, Poseidon will appear on his new podcast, the "Keemstar Show," to discuss it fully. He also invited Mizkif onto the show.

Mizkif has not streamed or responded to the accusations since they broke, though he has been active in other Twitch chats. In one chat, Mizkif commented that nobody can find CrazySlick, claiming the streamer sent him and some other streamers "farewells" and hasn't been seen since. The police have also purportedly been called to look for the streamer.

In the past few years, gambling streams, particularly slot machine streams, have become one of the biggest categories on Twitch. Last year, xQc and Trainwreckstv landed in hot water for streaming gambling to their audiences, many of whom are under 18. In June 2021, xQc quit gambling streams but returned to them a year later. Critics of gambling streams on Twitch see it as an egregious way to promote gambling to kids. Twitch has historically ignored calls for the streams to be banned.

Update: CrazySlick has since been found safe.
