About
Mizkif, whose real name is Matthew Rinaudo, is a New Jersey-born Twitch variety streamer most known for gaming. He is the founder of One True King (OTK), a gaming organization based in Texas. He was the third most-watched streamer on Twitch during the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election cycle.
History
Mizkif began streaming on Twitch and uploading to YouTube in 2016, gaining a consistent fanbase by 2018 after becoming Ice Poseidon cameraman and becoming a popular fixture in his streams, according to an interview with Daily Esports.[1]
In June 2019, the Mizkif Clips YouTube[2] channel uploaded a video of the streamer describing his start on Twitch (shown below). In the clip, Mizkif describes an incident prior to streaming where he fainted and was then diagnosed with viral myocarditis, a heart condition that causes inflammation. This meant he had to stop using Adderall to treat his ADHD and couldn't work at his upcoming job for Vanguard. This inspired him to start streaming and posting content to YouTube.
In October 2018, Mizkif was made a partner on Twitch (shown below).
In May 2019, Mizkif was given a seven-day ban from Twitch in regards to a joke he made during an IRL stream at PAX East in which he said, "She just sucked my dick!" jokingly about another attendee.[3] Mizkif began streaming World of Warcraft around this time, boosting his popularity.
In May 2021, Mizkif got his chat to troll streamer Adin Ross by at-mentioning DaBaby on his stream en-masse (shown below).
One True King
On October 11th, 2020, Mizkif, along with a number of other streamers including Asmongold, started the gaming organization One True King, often known as OTK. In January 2021, the organization participated in a professional WoW Shadowlands Arena World Championship, making it to the semi-finals.
Sexual Assault Cover-Up Accusations / Racist And Homophobic DMs
In July 2021, Twitch streamer AdrianahLee posted a TwitLonger[4] about how she was the victim of a sexual assault by OTK streamer CrazySlick. In September 2022, Twitch streamer Sliker was accused of and admitted to scamming his fans, mods and fellow streamers out of hundreds of thousands of dollars to support his gambling addiction, using false stories about his bank being locked and having bills to pay to get the money. The controversy sparked increased discussion about banning gambling streaming from Twitch, with Mizkif supporting the calls. On September 18th, gambling streamer Trainwreckstv defended gambling on Twitch in a comment under one of Asmongold's tweets.[5] Mizkif responded, suggesting Trainwrecks should have been banned for his promotion of the crypto scam Jolt Coin. Trainwrecks responded, blaming Mizkif for covering up the sexual assault of AdrianahLee. Mizkif deleted his comment (shown below).
The story went viral, inspiring reactions from the Twitch community. On September 20th, Ice Poseidon posted on Twitter,[6] "Mizkif, I brought you into this world and now I'm taking you out," sharing several DM screenshots spanning 2018 and 2019 where Mizkif uses homophobic and racial slurs (shown below). The tweet gained over 60,000 likes in under 24 hours. Know Your Meme reported on the story on September 20th.
Personal Life
Mizkif was born on February 16th, 1995. He is currently dating Maya Higa, founder of Alveus Sanctuary and a Twitch streamer.
