Most likely because they had to put something in there after they ve already changed Lazwald's character in the t string Odin's insertion is another reminder of discontinuity in the conversations not being fixed properly There are various other lines that were altered or cut to change their interactions and character. For example, Selena doesn't show her less rough side of her character, every mention of it has been cut out or altered in the localization, embarrassment and bashfulness seem to be a target for alteration for whatever reason. Selena continues to suffer from having her character being exaggerated and putting Lazwald down some more. ![Fire Emblem Fates - Lazwald x Luna There's a lot of additional fluff which is impossible to reproduce for the type of character that Selena is, which is why the original chose an implied seductive stare (or ust have Lazwald show his actually shy and awkward side because Selena's attentive stare is getting to him, since it's translated as an "intense stare") Like every time it happened before, these conversations lose a lot of nuance and depth again. Selena in the localization sounds like she's angry with him just pestering other girls and hurting their feelings (Selena: I don't care what your intentions are! It's not your intentions that matter. It's how the other person feels. Do you get it yet?), while in the original, she's angry because she's giving them attention instead of her, which is what is implied in the original (and later on in the next support conversations). Selena is talking about herself when mentioning "other women" (e.g. when she mentions that it's embarrassing, when she mentions that Lazwald plays with women's hearts, etc) Lazwald becomes oblivious again, instead of accepting his "problem" (this is because of extra additions in the localization), he suddenly has no self-awareness again Besides the conversation having the same issue like some Camilla, Aqua and Nyx ones. Which is why Kaden/ Nishiki rolls around in leaves rather than in an open, grassy field which by definition tends to have no leaves As explained in the C conversation, the identity of the fox and their magic depends on their tails (catching their tail is also a way to de-mask them, which is present in the folklore), so Aqua getting entranced is part of the legend of the "kitsune". This can be framed as a "cultural change", but the dialogue is too descriptive for people in the west to not understand. This again, is completely missing, and was the main theme during the whole conversations Aqua/Azura seems to guilt trip herself in the localization for touching Kaden/Nishiki's fur without permission, while in the original, that type of implication is not present. In Japanese folklore, a kitsune is a fox with great intelligence that most of the times also have magical powers and wisdom which increases with the time they are alive (and with the tails), they have the power to shapeshift in men or women which they use in various ways depending on the story The fox's tail is important because it's related to their magical powers (besides their identity), and they have difficulty hiding them when in human form, which is why in folklore, one of the ways to determine their identity is to check for their tails when they're confused, drunk, eto In our case, Aqua is entranced by his tail, this whole cultural part of the conversation is completely missing, instead, it's trivialized by making it seem as if Aqua has an obsession with "cute and fluffy things, when it's the magic doing this to her. In the original, Inigo first has the mpression that Aqua understood towards whom the feelings in his dance are directed to, but she was hesitant because of her status as a princess, he then misinterprets her trying to hide her feelings with her thinking that he lkes another woman and wants to help him achieve such a relationship, also believing that she does not have feelings for him.
