On one hand, clever.

On the other, I feel that the show is beginning to run the "lul troll the original fans lolololo!!!1!11!" joke into the ground, which would've been fine and chuckleworthy maybe once (granted that sort of joke doesn't work well given how extremely isoteric it is, especially for a kids show no less), but not something that should be overstaying it's welcome (unless you're an edgelord that enjoys this kind of shit)
