Oh my god this works so well, not only are they horrifying monsters that base their appearance after someone else, it also reflects the friendship between Samus and Pikachu in Subspace Emissary.

If there is going to be a new story mode, I'm hoping that the Assist Trophies and Pokeball Pokemon are involved somehow, because I'd like to see interactions such as these.
