You'd rather do anything then spend it on a broken down, dysfunctional disaster of video game programming, with baby s--- difficulty, hideous turner designs, insignificant characters, horrendous models, a marathon of mediocre mono types, bland starters, problems with proportion, misleading promises, misleading game development, embarrassing pandering, seizure- inducing color palette, lack of good Galarian forms, Pokemons you can't catch, bros you may lose, new Pokemon that make no sense whatsoever, s----- graphics, s----- music, s----- story, and a fuckton of other things! It should've been ILLEGAL for them to sell this rotten shitload of putrid f--- for any price! I feel humiliated to live on the same planet as Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori, who got together to make an electronic abomination of this magnitude! Could they have tried making one good Pokemon game, as opposed to 3 bad Pokemon mainline games? Quality over yearly quantity. That's our lesson here.

In case you were holding out: hope, dashed. Speaking to Inside Gamer, Pokemon boss Junichi Masuda re-confirmed that yes, there are no plans to add the National Pokedex into Sword and Shield. Although there were some "maybes" thrown out since the news came back in June at E3, Game Freak is now sticking to their guns and eliminating the prospect altogether. Masuda states: "We now have no plans to make the Pokemon that are missing in the Galar Pokedex in- game available. That is an approach that we want to continue with Pokemon games in the future. Of course, up to now it has not been possible to encounter every Pokemon in every game, so people had to transfer it from old games via Pokemon Bank to the new game, for example."
