DOOO 3/5/2019 I just recently started coming to this location for the cute goth girl who works here. Turns out she's a total b*tch. Ignored me for an hour even though I was standing by the register the entire time! She blew off every attempt to try and get to know about her to possibly ask if she would like to be taken out on a date. I ended up having to buy something I didn't even want to get her to even have a conversation with me, and then I felt like I was being rushed out to door. She needs to work on being more attentive to people who are just trying to be nice to her and not just giving all her attention to people buying something right then and there. Thanks for your vote! ( Reviews Five Guys Luke S. Elite '20 165 O97 O 37 1 minute ago I walked in and was immediately taken by surprise. I was expecting to see what I expected and didn't really know how to act when my expected expectations weren't met. I thought five guys were definitely going to be in five guys. Not like sexually, but I thought five guys were going to be working in the establishment, Five Guys. When I walked in though, there were only three guys there. wanted to ask the three guys where were the other two guys, but I felt like it may have been a sensitive topic, especially if it was a bad breakup. So I decided to silently wait for the food instead. I was the only person in five guys, except for the other three guys working. After a few minutes of waiting, another person walked in. At that moment there were five guys in five guys, it was pure serendipity. Some may say it was just a coincidence, but things like that don't just happen. If you ask me, fate brought me and those four other guys to five guys that day. Us five guys, being in five guys, made this a five star experience for me.

Me and the BF got the calamari, spaghetti alle vongole, and gnocchi. All were very delicious. I was actually so impressed that when the manager came to ask us how everything tasted I told her it was some of the best Italian food I've had and I told her I'm going to post about it on Instagram where I have over 11 thousand followers and a lot of them are in the area. She seemed very happy about it. I was wrong. I thought that she would be greatful for the free advertising but when the check came there was literally no discount at all. I thought at least one of the entrees would be taken off but they didn't even take off the calamari or even the drinks! I won't go back here because of this. Which is a shame because the food was very good. The manager needs to understand how to treat customers.

Thanks for coming into the shop. We've appreciated your support over the years, even at the original one on 30th St! I'm sorry that Ray ruined your experience on your last visit. Know that he would like you to continue buying $4 donuts from Nomad every day and doesn't want you to feel guilty about it. Our “new" location on University has a lot more homeless people than the original on 30th St and it had really been an issue until Ray started hanging out outside the shop. He keeps the problematic ones away. Yes, we've had many of those on meth, heroin and such that l've had to almost forcibly remove from the shop but Ray keeps them away. Ray is a former computer programmer with some physical and psychological challenges but he is very intelligent and respectful. I speak with him almost everyday. I like him. He is part of our community. The outside of the building provides him shelter from the sun, rain and the building slab gives warmth at night. understand how you feel, it's not easy to look at. I know I probably lose some business, possibly yours too, because of my choice not to chase him away but I won't. He's not looking for handouts and he tries not to bother anyone. If you stop and talk with him maybe you'll come to like him too.
