Except you can be against all of the above. "Racist police brutality is bad. Riots are bad." Not sure why it's impossible for people to hold both of these ideas in their heads at the same time.
In fact, I think most people do think that way. If anything, the bizarre desire of the left (and mostly the rich white left, far removed from the minority communities that have largely been the victim of these riots) to defend the riots has done more to distract from the issue of racial injustice than any attempts by the right to conflate rioters with peaceful protesters.
Yes, there are people on the right who don't care about anything but the riots. It's just strange to see so many on the left not care about anything else, either.
I see KYM doesn't like to get called out on it's bullshit. And no, before you say it, 80-90% of the main entry is talking exclusively about the riots and hardly mentioning the hundreds of incidents of first amendment violations, police attacking peaceful protesters or people on their own property, or attacking the press happening just in the past few days, stuff that is several orders of magnitude more horrifying and terrible. You can't claim "We can be against both" when you are exclusively talking about one thing, and it's the lesser of many evils.
