So before I explained what happened l'll give a bit of background. I'll refer to my neighbor as George because I don't know his real name. George looks to be in his mid to late twenties and is single. When I first saw him move in I was surprised someone his age could offered to live in this gated community I do. Besides the point I cant stand this m-----------. I tried to talk to him when he was walking his dog he just stared at me like this =l. He parks his car on the side of the road which is illegal where we live and I tried to talk to him but once again he just stared at me like this =l. I wrote a letter and put it on his car only to wake up the next morning to see the letter bald up laying in the street. George has a lot of company all of which are female and when he throws parties they park in the street and on his front yard. I called the police they did NOTHING!! I swear they went inside and partied for thirty minutes or so and then went back to patrol. Last week George was smoking outside sitting on his car, I called him a a------ for throwing that large party at night and once again he look at me like =l. I never heard this guys voice before lol and it kind of pisses me off. I sent my son over (ex military) to talk to him. My son walked over and asked him "Why you been disrespecting my Mother, what's your problem?" and FINALLY he speaks- his reply "If you want it, come and get it." My son walks away not wanting to fight. GOSH I CANT STAND GEORGE! So here's the car accident part. George and I both leave for work around 7:00am in the morning every weekday. He pulled out first this morning and I followed right behind him. George speeds whenever he drive but this time he driving slow. The speed limit in this area is 45 MPH, he is driving around 25 MPH. Then he floors it only to drop his speed back to 25 MPH a few seconds later. Frustrated I honk my horn. He then speeds up again, which causes me to speed up. Then out of no were he switches lanes and cause me to hit the car in front of him. I have never seen someone switch lanes so fast! I feel like he baited me into hitting someone's car (hence why he kept changing speeds drastically). When I got home he was already home sitting on his illegally parked car smoking. I yell at him because I know he tricked me into hitting the other person's car- his response =l. How can I get him to pay for the damages? PINE RIDGE HOMEOWNERS / RESIDENTS As we find ourselves living in unprecedented times with the coronavirus pandemic, we PRAY that everyone stays healthy, safe and that jobs remain secure, or at least a new job is available afterwards. Also, would like to give a sincere thank you to any and all First Responders that live in Pine Ridge. They continue to service all of us and our community and we are very grateful. And for all those brave souls that have to work with grocery stores, etc. We also thank you as well. During these unusual times, while so many are staying home, we have been blessed with great weather, so it's been wonderful to see so many people walking, running or riding bikes in the subdivision again and would be an ideal time to spruce up our own yards and the neighborhood. As we all know that not only is this virus a health issue, but an economic issue as well. With that being said, we all know that one of all of our biggest financial assets is our home/property. It is proven that curb appeal increases the value of properties by 7- 11%. That could be a $20,000 or more return for residents We would like to rally everyone during this time to clean up our yards/frontages. Much can be done by plain labor and some elbow grease. Most of us have time on our hands and it's a great way to exercise physically and mentally. However, if you need help or support to do so, we have noticed on the Next Door website, people are advertising to do such work as yards, pressure washing and tree removal, etc..'m sure their prices are negotiable during these times. Let's all take advantage of this time working together for the better of each neighbor and clean up Pine Ridge... Thanks in advance for your support and cooperation Your Pine Ridge Neighbors

Stop illegal fireworks. You can make a difference! Are you kept up at night by inconsiderate people lighting off Fireworks? Are your pets terrified when the explosions start going off? Are you concerned about living in a high Fire Danger Area with people who have a complete disregard for your safety? Our Community may have many Veterans who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, which can trigger the nightmares of a rocket attack. Should they be forced to suffer? As we all know, people shooting off fireworks gets worse every year. What gives them the right to explode rockets over our homes, terrify our pets, and traumatize our veterans? More precious pets are lost around 4h of July than any other time of year. LAPD can't be everywhere. This year will be different. We need volunteers who are fed up and willing to do something. The offenders will be reported to LAPD and the City Attorney's Office. Your identity is protected. What I need from you: 1. Get the address where the offender is shooting Fireworks. Let me know If it's an apartment building. If you can ID the offender, please include their name. 2. Describe the location, If you don't know the street address, please give the cross streets, if you know their vehicle please include a license plate. 3. Video or photos?
