r/fermentation RailgunPat High meat? • 4 yr. ago So today on some meme page i seen people eating rooten meat in aerobic environment, which form what they say should contain healthy gut bacteria and boost your mood. To be honest I thought that was a joke at first, but quick Google shown me that this is quite a popular trend in r/Paelo, r/carnivore, r/zerocarb. People there seem to be very confident about safety of that process and I'm not gonna lie it's super confusing to me, especially that i can't find any related science to it. Do all i know food "fermented" like that, should be full of salmonella and toxins.
