One good TL:DR deserves another, as they say.
I was hoping this would be a big turn and character development for RD in that she no longer wants to become a Wonderbolt and that her dream is gone. Because of this, she spends more and more time pursuing her other interest Twilight Sparkle reading in Twilight Sparkle's bed the library about Daring Do. Her attitude would change in that she'd be a little less rash and intense and a bit more intellectual and slightly introverted. But only a little. For comparison, for those who have seen Xiaolin Showdown, she'd be like Raimundo after he loses Sword Of The Storm in episode 5, only to reclaim it by using his brain instead of pure brawn. If that makes any sense, I guess.
