I too was bullied back then, and videogames were there for me whenever I needed it.

Where instead of being the lonely nerd that gets beaten up everyday, I would instead become a hero in shining armor that saves the people of the land, kill the bad guys, and see that score rise.

I could become anyone I wanted and lose myself in this world and escape from my reality.

Nowadays I am doing much better, and I have videogames to thank for that. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for it.

And now with all this bullshit of saying how videogames are sexist and gamers being misogynists, I became livid.

Videogames saved my life, and I'll be damned to let them tarnish my savior.
