Yep I thought emotional skill was not being a miserable sack of s--- who constantly let their emotions get the better of them A skill by definition is benificial Getting your panties in a bunch over everything is anything but benificial. Tests your emotional skill? That exists. Its call Spec Ops: The Line Emotional endurance maybe. Not really skill. You're just taking hits. The only thingI can think of is something like a morality continuum, which, EVERY F------ RPG HAS. Other than that how can you possibly make emotions not only integral, but also make it a fun game? It's like they re just trying to say what sounds nice in their heads They're just being dumb. Games are interactive and emotions aren't an activity, they're an involuntary response to actions. You can't build a game around being emotional, you have to try and build players emotions off the gameplay. Which very few games manage to do successfully Morality systems have always been kinda f----- too though. About 90% of the time it's s--- like do you help the old lady across the street, or stick a land mine in her purse. Which isn't so much a test of morality as rather the deciding factor in if you're gonna take the game seriously or just want it to be funnier h is completely counter productive Or there's the morality meter. Whic You can't attach scores and rewards to questions of morality. That just turns them into math problems. Like how many old ladies do I need to save before I can unlock the sword made of unbaptized babies? Is that sword stronger than lucifers schlong I get for kicking enough puppies? >Why should I have to have reflex? Pander to my emotional needs!!!
