People suddenly associating pink with girls has nothing to do with Hitler. As clothing dye technology advanced, they simply became stronger and more resilient with washings. People gradually preferred dressing girls in pink and blue for boys just like any fashion trend. Up until the 30s, most children’s clothing no matter the color washed out into white.
