The term "cuck chair" has been used to refer to a chair that a cuck sits in to watch their partner have sex on Twitter^[1] since as early as 2014. In 2019, the term "cuck chair" started to spread through memes. On February 22nd, 2019, Redditor stkflndeosgdog posted an image of a hotel room with a chair facing the bed to /r/mildlyinteresting,^[2] writing, "My hotel room has what I can only interpret as being a cuckold seat," garnering around 14 upvotes in three years. On September 9th, Twitter^[3] user @doityboy posted a thread of cuck chairs in hotel rooms, consisting of 14 images of hotel rooms with cuck chairs along with captions explaining what a cuck chair is, garnering over 1,200 likes in three years (examples shown below).

On July 24th, 2020, the same Twitter user posted a video to YouTube^[4] where he narrates the captions from the thread, garnering over 43,000 views in two years (shown below).

Spread

On September 16th, 2022, Instagram^[5] user papa.panara posted a photo of a hotel room with a cuck chair captioned, "every hotel got the cuck chair," garnering over 10,000 likes in two months (shown below). The image gained viral spread over the following weeks. It was reposted to Facebook^[6] by Barbaric Humor on September 19th, garnering over 1,000 reactions in two months. That day it was also posted to Instagram^[7] page grapejuiceboys, garnering over 97,000 likes in two months.

On that day, September 19th, a Redditor posted an alternative version of the same meme to /r/okbuddyretard,^[8] garnering over 21,900 upvotes in two months.
