"Why Do You Keep Looking Me In The Eyes? My Huge Tits Are Down Here." is a redraw meme based on a humorous original comic panel that started on Twitter in August of 2023. The meme redraws the scene with different characters, usually from popular culture.

Origin

On August 25th, 2023, Twitter artist @Msbhaive^[1] posted an art piece in the style of a mid-century comic book (shown below). The art shows two women in bathing suits, and one is waving her hands towards her breasts and saying "Why do you keep looking me in the eyes? My huge tits are down here." The piece received over 12,000 likes and over 2,400 retweets in one month. The art post also received over 382 quote retweets in one month, most of which were redraws of the original scene.

Spread

The piece quickly inspired redraws featuring different characters. For example, on September 12th, 2023, Twitter user @barely_sly^[2] did a redraw with Rouge the Bat, gaining over 1,700 retweets and 12,000 likes in two weeks (shown below, left). On September 14th, user @pixelkitties^[3] did an example with Minnie Mouse, gaining over 30 retweets and 130 likes in two weeks (shown below, right).

Some users made humorous, genderbent examples. For example, on September 21st, user @JullHedgehog367^[4] made an example with Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles, gaining over 130 retweets and 860 likes in one day (shown below, left). On the 23rd, user @47_bunneh^[5] made an example with Deadpool, gaining over 180 retweets and 1,000 likes in one week (shown below, right).
