You Digging In Me, also known as You Diggin' In Me, refers to an audio from an explicit viral video of two gay Black men having intercourse. The original video was shared by OnlyFans model and Twitter / X user LoveAndLightTv in mid-2024, who's also known for other audios like Yes King, I'm a Lion Pizza Chicken and Who Made That Mess? Memes using the audio subverted its sexuality by portraying innocent situations of "digging" paired with the video's sound in which a man can be heard saying, "Fuck, you digging in me. You digging in me. You digging in a nigga. Go ahead, bruh." The meme falls under the category of Thugposting, which involves the ironic subversion of gay Black male content.

On July 25th, 2024, X^[1] user LoveAndLightTv (@loveandlighttv) posted an explicit video, receiving over 1 million views and 7,100 likes in three months (censored screenshot shown below). In the video, LoveAndLightTv can be heard saying, "Fuck, you digging in me. You digging in me. You digging in a nigga. Go ahead, bruh."

On July 26th, Redditor^[2] Decent-Baseball2725 posted a video to the /r/loveandlighttv subreddit, showing the explicit video with added Minecraft exploitables and a POV caption reading, "POV: You're digging straight down in Minecraft." The post received over 450 upvotes in three months. It's currently the first known memetic usage of the You Digging In Me audio.

On September 4th, 2024, TikToker^[3] @yeskingproductionsalt posted a Fortnite video that used the You Digging In Me audio, captioned in all caps, "KING IS HEARD IN A CAVE DIGGING FOR GOLD." In a month, the video gained over 641,300 plays and 26,700 likes (since deleted).

In the following weeks, the TikTok sound^[4] of the abovementioned video amassed viral usage by others on the site. For instance, on September 20th, TikToker^[5] @dolcejeanz used the sound to joke about searching deep in a Goodwill bin until it starts "talking freaky to you," receiving over 280,200 plays and 37,100 likes in a month (shown below).

On October 3rd, TikToker^[6] @hxhcentrall posted a video that used the You Diggin In Me audio, attesting that she always quotes it in her daily life. Over 13 days, the video received roughly 566,500 plays and 94,400 likes (shown below).

On October 10th, 2024, X^[7] user @TheFlawlessMan tweeted, "should I block my gf every time she says 'you digging in me,'" receiving over 760 likes in six days. X^[8] user @TheFlawlessMan then quote retweeted their post, attaching a screenshot of a supposed text message from her girlfriend, gaining over 70,000 likes in six days (shown below).

By October 16th, 2024, the meme's primary TikTok sound^[3] had amassed over 5,300 posts.
