Twitch Plays Pokémon: 3 Years On (BBC 3)
Origin Entry:
Twitch Plays Pokemon
Notes
Mini-documentary on Twitch Plays Pokemon by BBC 3.
Description
It's been three years since the bizarre but utterly captivating Twitch Plays Pokémon stream ended, after bringing together over 1.16 million people to complete a single Pokémon game. Despite (or maybe because of) it's comedy and irreverence, it may be one of the most important examples of a large-scale online community working together to date.
