I really love how active Tara is in the brony community, with all the trolly twitter comments, the infamous Twilighticious video, not to mention the BronyCon documentary she's currently doing with Lauren Faust and John de Lancie.

Asleigh did the "forget you I can eat all these apples" thing, but Tara's probably the only one that can be called a true brony.

I mean, Tabitha got Derpy's gender incorrect, so…

Page get? Time to make da magics!

Let's talk about military bronies some more.

That image with the soldier wearing the Rainbow Dash patch had me wondering; do you think our military members are actually more accepting of open MLP fan-ness than the civillian population? From the comments on the military article, I would almost have to say it looks like they are.

"Yup, bored with this. However, Futashy is not only porn-related, it’s bestiality too, so it’s kind of weird that you would bring that up as an alternative. Besides, we already talked about that."

Anyways, as far as I'm concerned, futashy porn isn't any more bestial than other pony 34 really. Its cool though. I wish human rainbow dash and pinkie were mah fuck buddies Lololol lmao

I heard about the Howard Stern show and how it negatively portrays the brony fandom. I was gonna plan to listen to it, BUT I realized that it was a loooooooooong video clip, so I didn't bother listening to it. =D

Just going to join the ever-pervasive R34 discussion here for one second to say that it is not bestiality if it involves ponies, because in that case saying it's bestiality implies they aren't sapient creatures. Which is dumb considering they built an entire civilization. The proper term is xenophilia, but of course that opens up another can of worms.

@News twisting stuff

This is exactly why I don't watch the news. The only tell you stuff that will make you want to keep watching it. So much bais.

I forgot to post my opinion on Rule 34/clop (in the post I posted yesterday). I wasn't with it yesterday. Couldn't type, couldn't talk, ugh.
Not sure if I should post this, but here it is:

I've never been into that sort of thing myself. I don't really fully understand it. When I happen to come upon a borderline Rule 34 pic in the MLP gallery, I don't get "turned on" (as they say) by it. Nnnope. For some reason, in my mind, the fact that it's MLP-realted seems to cancel out any sexual feelings. I guess my mind views them as opposites.

The thing is, I resist (or try to resist) sexual temptation. There are people out there who don't resist, who like it so much they want to mix it in with everything else in order to make things more enjoyable for them. The existance on Rule 34 proves this.

It's understandable, it's rooted in natural sexual desire that was evolved in order to produce as many humans as possible. If you think about it; if you're living, you must have some kind of favorable characteristics that can be past on. It makes good evolutionary sense. But it isn't that neccesary anymore now that humans in general have a better chance of survival.

Why do I resist, you ask? Actually, I'm not entirely sure. We're programmed to think that there isn't anything wrong with sexual stuff.
Wait, now I remember. Submitting to sexual desires could get you addicted to sex in the furture. The more sex you have, the more likely it is to get an STD. Because lots of sex isn't that necessary, it's not worth getting an STD.

I have nothing against cloppers and stuff like that, though. It's a personal choice, do what you want.

No dude, Futashy is definitely bestiality.

No dude, Futashy just wants to love and be loved.

Well, yes, in that case it is. I'm just talking for the most part. Xenophilia happens when you're self-aware.

Of course that might derail the entire thread into a discussion wherein we philosophically debate if something has souls or not, and that doesn't really involve ponies that much so I'll have to cut it off.

It's amazing how she can say " shame I don't care" by only slightly moving her mouth once.

Tell Pinkie who done such a act ion to her latest creation of a pastry she worked show hard to make… They will be burned to the highest degrees Don't be afraid, nothings bad is going to happen. Their reproductive organs will be removed with the most painful way possible.

I’m sort of surprised that Hasbro would take action against anything in the fandom. However, in this case, I feel like it is justificable to a certain extent, as the Lyra plushie was potentially quite harmful to their public image (I doubt it, but you know legal departments).

The same thing happened before with WhiteDove, who is known for making high-quality plushies like these:

The problem was that she didn't have the proper license to make profit from said plushies. Though it is most likely they removed the Lyra plushie images because it gives them a bad name, I've read somewhere that failure to enforce your copyright will invalidate the copyright trademark all-together. I would have to do some deep digging to find it, but you can imagine how bad that would be.

Stop hating on my home state, dammit!

Well, my sister just got engaged. Hopefully a shapeshifting race of insectoid equines don't attempt to hijack her wedding.

Are there a lot of Changelings in Missouri?

What? The average vagina isn't a cesspool of bacteria and rotting flesh. Prudence and a box of rubbers should be all you need to avoid std's. Just don't fuck everything that moves and keep it within relationships. Also, thinking someone or something is hot and acting upon it ( masturbating, having sex) will not make you a sex addict.

No. Just idiots and hipsters.

If you're lucky, then you'll find idiotic hipsters. And teal deer.

As for Howard (I forget if I said anything on the matter. This thread is moving at speeds approaching the Age of Pony Chatspam, and I can't be bothered to do more than scan to make sure no one is posting something too odd), I found a bit of it funny. He's going to be a jerk to everyone regardless of what it is. The woman was a little stereotypical, as was Howard, but if you know his game, you see why he's at the top of it. Mindless bashing gets old after a few…shows. But he's been on the air for years and years. I know for more than a decade.

As for the second Red Eye clip, that was also kinda funny.

Was reeeeeally hoping that Nicole Oliver would send the interviewer to the moon though.

You guys remember Discord (TLT's Remix)? How about Rock Band 3? Well, they've officially released TLT's version of Discord on Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz.

I suggest you pick it up on the Marketplace.

@Zarathh

I can't, I'm too busy playing real guitar and having sex with what I'm 90% sure are real women. Ah, those are two good things. I remember once dreaming of touching a woman and then her body turned into a guitar, the parts I was pressing became the strings. That was a good dream.

You know, the one thing that's always annoyed me about Rockband and guitar hero is when they do songs that don't have any, you know, guitar. For me, that completely destroys the illussion at all that I'm playing guitar in a kickass rockband and I become painfully aware that I'm just hitting a number of colored buttons in some arbitrary order to make the pre-recorded music play.

Anyway, I'm going to go play some women and have sex with a guitar.

@Dac

Ah, that's a mean question. Luckily I don't have a pet as they have yet to genetically engineer a velociraptor that can read your thoughts.

LOL Gravity Falls, just got done watching that for the first time. It's a pretty good distraction from non-pony.

Also, sorry no Tumblr update tonight, I'm getting this weird glitch where it says all the posts submitted in my question feed are coming from myself. O.o

I'm going through the compilation of parodies vids for the s2 episodes I watched so far…some of them are sneaky and silly (the GTA4 references in the bowling alley), but others like random songs don't make sense. The one in question is this:

The very first one with the System of a Down video. Anyone can help me on this?

Not much going on in the thread at the moment, so I'll leave this post in a time capsule!

More animations were finished! Maybe not so good, especially the tail, but watch the Flash because the gif absoulutely murdered it. Also, there was a layering issue with the back wing that has been fixed in the Flash and not in the gif.

But here is gif anyways: (Psst. Watch the Flash!)

(I haven't checked Twitter myself so I wouldn't know if this was shopped.)

XD You're backpedaling Howard. What? The concentrated lazer force of the internet make you to rethink your priorities a bit? Just because you're only saying this to get the bronies off your back doesn't mean we'll forget it.

Anyway, that lolness aside.

DAYUM Exudes, you one badass animator! D:

You should totally help out with my blog some time!

then your going to love my idea for rule 34 the musical.
but really i hate when people say rule 34 is the bane to bronies i found you would have to go out of your way to find rule 34 mlp. i don't care what you fap to i just wish more people will share that view.
i heard a lot of non bronies say that the people who make or enjoy rule 34 are rapesit or pedos.
now i go to rule 34 once in a while i read clopfics ( mostly to make fun of them) but i don't think you become a sex addict but making rule 34 i don't think it works like that

I just checked Stern's Twitter, and found nothing of the sort, unfortunately. Either he deleted them or they were never there in the first place. It would have been pretty hilarious tho.

While I was looking it up, I found his profile summary to actually be kind of funny:

King of all Media. Howard 100 and Howard 101 on SiriusXm Satellite Radio. Howard TV on Demand. Author, Actor, Lord of Fart Manor.

Now if you'll excuse me…

It's probably photoshopped, and were it not, saying you're a brony is an easy lie to tell if you want the Internet to think more highly of you. coughNOTCHcough

Also, they released the first official shots of the Aston DB5 in the next Bond movie, Skyfall! I assume it's Bond driving, but I can't figure out who the passenger is. I think it'll be some new character.

Well, health class made it sound sort of like that. I'm guessing it isn't that likely, but I think they tried to scare us out of it in school so we wouldn't want to do it at all while we're young. They even showed pictures of what STDs look like (I kept my eyes closed).
Also, I'm a play-it-safe kind of person, and you never know what's going to happen. But I seem to have a baised view anyway.

Now I'm all confused. I have no idea what I should do.

Suddenly, I feel sorry I even brought that back up.

I should really stop posting about this topic. I'm even having doubts about posting this. But something in me still wants to let things out.

@Mega
The world always needs more Monty Python parodies.
There are surprisingly few around here.

@Exudes
That guy driving must be a stunt double because he looks nothing like the real actor.

@BoxFigs

@Sketch
I'm having a tough time assembling the timeline of his various tweets (he's gone back and fortha few times), but I did find this.

If he has watched the show, I doubt he's really a 'hardcore' brony.
He seems to just be having fun with the Humble Brony Bundle guys.

Ah, okay then, but he's still cool, unlike a certain radio host. Which reminds me, I really want to get Minecraft and install that Mine Little Pony mod I've seen. Not sure if it's compatible with the Steam version though.

@DeadParrot

British car, the steering wheel is on the wrong side. So I don't think our mysterious passenger is a stunt double. I watched the behind the scenes footage that came from again, and I think they just got a new actor to play M.

<fontsize="1">Man, it's been forever since I last used GIMP.

@Notch

Those pictures DeadParrot posted are from December. In March or so, he came out and said he did actually enjoy the show, that he wasn't lying this time, but I don't think he considers himself a brony.

@Sketch

There is no Steam version of Minecraft; it's its own application. So if you got it, you'd be able to get Mine Little Pony. I have three separate Minecraft bins, one vanilla, one Mine Little Pony and one Tekkit. Who's tryna spielen?

Last edited Jul 19, 2012 at 02:42PM EDT

@Notch: I think Notch is a pretty cool guy. Eh makes Minecraft and doesn't afraid of anything.
In any event, yes, he's a cool guy. I predict ponymods are going to skyrocket by twelve billion percent if/when he turns out to be one.

@Bond: Be careful. She has a license to kill. And that Aston Martin is a Swiss Army Car

@Exudes' anim: Damn is that good. You spared no detail – though if his mouth is like that, wouldn't that mean he's getting close to Mach speed? I'm not saying mach speed causes Sonic Rainbooms, I'm just saying you have to be going pretty fast in order to warp your face like that. Good job. 9/10 make more if possible.

@Fifths' question: WELL THE JOKE'S ON YOU, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A PET, BEEYITCH! :D:D:D

@Stern being brony: Not sure if that's a shop, but in any event that means we've survived yet again. (No, we haven't won.)

Weird, I could've sworn you could get Minecraft off of Steam. I'll have to check next time I'm on it, but that's cool that you can separate the Minecraft stuff so they all don't clash, mainly cause there's also a Pokemon deal I want to get as well.

Yeah, you can have multiple bin folders for mods that are incompatible, and just swap them out depending on what mods you want to play.

@Sparty

Thanks! Gifs do not like Soarin's color scheme.

I got a great idea when it comes to this Stern controversy. Since Howard Stern is a judge on America's Got Talent, wouldn't it be great if Howie Mendel trolled Stern by wearing a Brony shirt?

You know, there's a reason why Discord was such a good villain for mlp, I mean besides the fact that he was channeling the spirit of the mighty de Lancie. Discord represented the perfect antithesis to the message and world view that they're trying to present in mlp. It's not so much an "order vs. chaos" thing as it is "humanity vs. nature"

The basic message of mlp is this: Friendship is magic. It's the premise that if we put aside our differences and all get along right, then we can become the masters of the world. The path to victory is never a question of physical strength or ability, it's never about overpowering my foe or perservering against the blind and overwhelming strength of nature, such things are irrelevant. They didn't beat Nightmare Moon by chopping her head off, they didn't finish Chrysalis by stabbing her in the back while she was singing. The way the ponies solve their problems is through the employment of social virtue, it's a question of will over strength. Ponies control the sun, moon, rains, and seasons and friendship is the strongest magic there is, so the only foe the ponies need to worry about conquering is their own dispositions.

Then we have Discord. Discord represents the spirit of nature that the ponies have worked so hard to tame. It isn't even proper to call him cruel because cruelty is a sentient instinct. He's capricious, random, and his will is incomprehensible, he's a hurricane that plows through a town without ever seeing the people inside it. His most terrifying aspect is that he also represents animal nature, the fact that creatures of will are still composed of flesh and desire. He didn't tempt the mane six out of their elements, he forced them out of it. Suddenly it's not a question of will or social virtue, it's revealed that you're just a slave to your random, thoughtless nature.

You thought it was a question of good vs. evil, but those things don't even exist. There is only the world, huge, blind, and terrifying.

>That feel when you were the first person to check Stern's Twitter and confirm that the tweets in question weren't there, and everyone acts like they didn't even read your post.

@Fifths

Among the problems with this statement of yours are that Discord DID tempt them out of their elements (excluding Fluttershy), he IS a sentient and cruel being, and good and evil DO in fact exist. I will definitely agree that he does provide an excellent foil to the message of self control, being a creature that prefers to see base emotion acted upon, and not virtue.
