Angry Birds movie

I really hope that the movie doesn't include the characters kamikaze-catapulting themselves against castles filled with swine at any part of it. I do not see that kind of suspension of disbelief working for a movie.

And the "Why do they support the apocalypse? End of the world harr harr!" reactions are already flooding in. Doesn't suprise me really, it is always to be expected with this stuff, you should've seen Tumblr.

I'm giving this a wait and see. It's still in production and we can't give a clear opinion yet. And overrated or not, the games are still a fun timekiller at random occasions. Can't personally figure out how something like that can work out in a movie though, but we had vaguer subjects which gave better results. I'm guessing it will follow the standard birds needing to get their eggs from the pigs, but how it'll work out is a mystery.

This…
Instead of getting all worked up about it, wait. Even If it's the worst movie ever, no one is making you see it.

Oh boy they are remaking Birdemic, the greatest film of all time.

Anyways, Angry Birds will most likely become irrelevant by 2016, I highly doubt that they can innovate angry birds to make it enjoyable for that long. The best versions in my opinion were space and the original because they had interesting mechanics, now they have scaled back the difficulty to the point where the puzzles solve themselves (I have not played the game since the original but it does not take long to hear about these things). This movie will be a major flop by the time it come out unless Angry Birds is deeply entrenched in the youth, that it will be able to overcome the production costs.

…While I don't have a problem with the Angry Birds games (maybe because I haven't even played them to give a good opinion), I'm really getting tired of all this commercialism.

While I'm glad that there's a finnish product that has become wildly popular around the world since Nokia, I still cannot help but to cringe every time every time I see and/or hear of new they try to sell with the title.

And if you think all the merchandise with the Angry Birds title is bad wherever you live, you should be happy that you don't live here in Finland. All the stores have tons of stuff with the title slapped into them, from candies, through skin products, to plushies and electronics.

I think Rovio has been taking one too many lessons from KISS.

You bet it is!
Get it? Because it's a bomb? Yeah…
I would be thoroughly impressed if they managed to get a full plot out of a 15 minute mini-game, regardless of how good it is.

There once was a time, pigs and birds were in peace. Until the green dictator with a hunger more for more than vegetables. He wanted eggs. Now a war has started. The Birds have been slaughter, they are left with only one thing: A Catapult.
Follow the adventures of the Angriest Birds around.
Now they are to angry to be held on your phone.
Angry Birds, THE MOVIE 3D.
