Morenatsu (漏れなつ。, "Summer Break") is a Japanese adult-oriented homosexual furry dating simulator visual novel.

Premise

Morenatsu follows Hiroyuki Nishimura, a human, during a summer vacation, where he returns to his childhood home Minasato village (水郷村 Minasato-mura). There, depending on your decisions and conversation points, the player has one month to gain the affection of one of nine characters. As with many other visual novel/dating simulators, players may achieve a good ending or a bad ending with different characters depending on their actions and choices within the game.

There are 9 main characters that the player can attempt to romance. There are no female characters in the game. Each character has their own traits and backstory that the player will learn along the way, and in the end attempt to end in romance.

History

The game was developed by the kemono board on 2ch, starting in 2003. The game was created through an oekaki board with various people contributing. The game was first released in 2010, with limited routes available, and more routes were released later on. However, the game ceased to be developed on June 20, 2015, leaving some routes unfinished, with only 6 of the 9 available routes. The game is released only in Japanese, and the creators discourage any form of translations.^[4]
