What Is The '93' Meme? The Number 'Ninety-Three' Getting The '67' Meme Treatment On TikTok Explained

Memes about numbers have been a recurring phenomenon this year. First there was 67, then there was 41. Now, some TikTok users are trying to spread a 93 meme too.
A big part of the internet is now confused about why the number ninety-three is a meme. Why would it be? Why would the numbers six and seven be a meme to begin with? Let's try and explain what's going on.

Where Did The '93' Meme Come From?
The "93 Meme" is entirely based on the success of the "67 Meme," which has a confusing history of its own. Six and seven became a meme when little boys apparently couldn't stop quoting the lyrics of the song "Doot Doot" by Skrilla throughout this year.
The prime example of a 67-saying young one is the appropriately named "67 Kid," who cringed out a lot of internet users and propelled the funny numbers to mainstream awareness.
Then came the meme creators who wanted to find the next 67. "41" became the successor, based on a song by Blizzi Boi, in which he pretended to be a 41-year-old just entering the rap game.
None of it really made a lot of sense, so some TikTokers thought they could get away with the schtick again. A TikToker named @ninetythree93._ then posted a video, proclaiming that 93 was the new number to laugh at.
The video showed Twitch streamer Fanum pointing with a caption reading, "When everybody you know stuck on '67' and '41' but [you're] already on 93."
The meme's structure was intertwined with TikTok's "Niche Community," which is built on astroturfing new memes and killing them the next day, all for a laugh.

Is The '93' Meme Spreading?
A lot of people jumped on the "93 Meme" bandwagon when it first dropped last month. However, the trend has seen a dip in followers since its origin.
Some have even come out to criticize the trend, like TikToker Hoopify, largely known for his "Baby Gronk Rizz King" video but also known for astroturfing the "41 Meme."
"We're NOT making 93 a meme," he proclaimed in one recent TikTok video, expressing a widely held belief that 93 is a forced meme.
@hoopervalley8 We need to end making number memes and stay with 67 and 41 🤷♂️ #hoopervalley #93meme #67 #41 #h00pify ♬ original sound – hoopervalley
