Well, now the meme is back with a fresh focus on Fortnite streamer and YouTuber Tfue, but this time, we're asked to imagine if Tfue had a high taper fade. Here's why.

In June 2024, TikToker @hpf.an, in some attempt to keep the "Low Taper Fade" meme going, posted a video consisting of an image macro of Tfue captioned, "Imagine if Tfue got a high taper fade."

The video didn't gain much notable traction, but regardless, he continued to post memes about Tfue's high taper fade over the following months.

The TikToker even started setting the memes to an edit of the "Imagine if Ninja Got a Low Taper Fade" song, which features the altered lyrics, "Imagine if Tfue got a high taper fade."

The meme would continue to fall flat until October when one video following the trend gained 200,000 views followed by one that gained around 2.3 million, inspiring others to get in on the meme.

How Is 'Tfue High Taper Fade' Used In Memes?

The Tfue High Taper Fade memes combine and parody the original "Imagine if Ninja Got a Low Taper Fade" memes and the "Ninja Dragging the Low Taper Fade" memes.

Many of the memes attempt to ironically gaslight viewers into believing that the high taper fade meme was popular around the same time as Ninja's meme and suggest he's dragging it right now, despite it only having taken off in October 2024.
