The Weekly Meme Roundup: Great Meme Reset, AI Chiropractors, Fat And Wearing Jeans And More
It's time to sit back, relax, let the AI chiropractor body slam that kink out of your neck and read the Weekly Meme Roundup, where we review five of the biggest memes of the past week.
This week, the latest Stephen King adaptation had everyone talking about being "fat and wearing jeans," a pig with a cool haircut took over X / Twitter, talk of a Great Meme Reset entered a far more serious stage and more.
Without further delay, here are five of the biggest memes of the past week that you need to catch up on.
Fat And Wearing Jeans
A big flaw in the hit movie The Long Walk, an adaptation of a Stephen King story, has made the idea of being "fat and wearing jeans" a meme.
The meme comes to us thanks to Letterboxd user Bennett Vierhus. In September, after seeing The Long Walk, they decided to give the movie a scathing one-star review. The review points out a few potential flaws with the film, but the one that sticks out is their confusion over why the film's protagonist, Garraty, would show up to the deadly Long Walk "fat and wearing jeans."
The review went viral at the end of October when a screenshot of it started circulating on X. As the review spread, people began cooking up memes about the inexplicable choice to go and do something while fat and wearing jeans, where being fat and wearing jeans might not be beneficial.

The Great Meme Reset
Brainrot fatigue has reached an all-time high, and now, the people are yearning for a "Great Meme Reset in 2026."
The idea of resetting the meme clock back to the dank meme days was first notably floated on TikTok back in March 2025. Essentially, the idea is to start posting 2010s-style dank memes (think Ugandan Knuckles and Rage Comics) at the start of 2026.
This idea is largely seen as a reaction to things like the so-called March 2025 Meme Drought and hopes to breathe some new (well, old) breath into meme culture.
While the idea of the reset is much older, it started taking off more seriously in the past few weeks, even spreading past TikTok to sites like Reddit. So, will the Great Meme Reset actually happen? With only so few weeks left in 2025, we will soon see.

AI Chiropractor Videos
It's probably not good to indulge in too much AI slop, but if you can allow yourself to intake just a little bit of trash, you could do worse than the AI chiropractor videos.

AI chiropractor videos are exactly what they sound like. They're AI-generated videos of AI people practicing absurd chiropractic methods on other AI people and, more often than not, destroying their bones in the process.
Examples include overweight chiropractors slamming into elderly people's backs, chiropractors using chairs to align the spines of patients, throwing them through drywall and much, much more.
These videos saw a big increase in virality on TikTok in late October, resulting in a whole lot of examples that, to some, arguably highlight exactly why we might need a Great Meme Reset in 2026. But hey, at least they're kind of funny.

Whining Dog
Speaking of brainrot, one of the biggest memes of the past week has people taking a whining dog video and morphing it into prime brainrot material with absurd edits.

The dog itself, a German Shepherd, first started going viral on TikTok in August, when a pet video repost page shared it. In the clip, the dog simply sits on the floor and whines while looking at the camera with an adorable stare.
Then, in September, it started to inspire memes on Reels and TikTok, such as a meme that charts the sound of the whines using Emojis.
Since then, the dog has become the unsuspecting subject of brainrot edits that look to turn the clip into something deeply unsettling and odd. One TikToker even called the meme "nourishing brainrot," a term that might not mean anything at all, but an idea that we should welcome with open arms.

Fade Pig
Finally, we have the "Fade Pig," a series of memes based on an AI image of a pig with a sick fade.
Coming to us from the Arctic Facebook page, this pig was first posted back in September and has been slowly making its way to meme stardom ever since. The thing about this pig is that he's got a fade, and that's pretty cool.
Mostly, he's being used to represent people with bad haircuts and ugly people, but some are taking the memes in a more absurd direction.
This new, strange era for the Fade Pig started this week on X, when a user made a post asking if you could slaughter the pig if he came down the conveyor belt at the slaughterhouse. From there, people have grown more attached to the pig, resulting in a steady flow of memes on X, showing a promising, likely short-lived meme life for the swine.
