I think tomorrow's episode may not be great for pre-show discussion. Spike has a growth spurt, hilarity ensues, and things will more than likely go back to the way they were before the episode.

Do you have any other thoughts on it? Hopes? Dreams? Fears? Twitchy tails?

Well, as I recall, many fans thought Sisterhooves Social wouldn't be that good. And now it's widely regarded as one of the best episodes this season, I think.

Putting aside my inner Ideological, I actually think it has potential. I don't expect to be surprised as to how the episode goes (even though all of Sweet and Elite was a surprise, and I thought I knew how that would go,) I think it has the opportunity to pull at my heartstrings. It hurts a bit to see Twilight and Pinkie upset. I think I may know dat feel come tomorrow.

Yes, I actually didn't know I referenced it until you said it. I guess it's just had that effect on me. I should go watch that again.

Concerning the rest of your comment:

@Verbose: Sorry, I didn't ask my question in that last statement (sleepy, not thinking very clearly). I meant to ask everyone here. Do you (all of you) think there will be an abundance of episodes that will surprise us with their quality? As the recent Rarity episodes have.

It may just be that it's late, and I don't have the energy to be pessimistic, but I wonder how this episode is going to be good with the plot. I'm not saying that I doubt it can be. I'm saying that I know it will be (or I just have a feeling that it will be,) and I wonder how the writers are going to pull that off.

I'm guessing it'll be an emotional episode or something.

I also wonder how they'll explain off his growth spurt. Was it something he ate that made him grow? Was it all a dream? Or the really unexpected but talked about one…he actually goes through a growth spurt (Hasbro ain't having none of that, but just think…)

I think my above words might hint at my thoughts, but yes. Now that we're 9 episodes into the season, I think I can honestly say that Studio B has hit their stride. I think they're making this show all it can be within their confines…there aren't many restrictions, but they probably can't make a couple of lines or scenes they'd want, I'm sure.

So yeah. I expect awesome from here on out. Something is still different, but it's not bad by any means. It's better overall.

If its all a dream, tehr will be hell to pay. Whats that series that ended with it all being a dream? anyways, It'll suck.
Im hoping it will at least be a little emotional. I don't really know what to expect, I just am hoping that I will be plesently surprised. And I hope for some good references to King kong and godzilla. It does sound like a really good episode though. I can't wait for hearths warming ( I think thats what its called)
