Also added a bit about references to Star Wars, Star Treck, and The Big Lebowski in the main article. Not sure if I should include the bits about the art in Sweet and Elite and the twilight dancing like Elaine from Seinfeld though.

This post was also placed on the main article, so I didn't add the edits to that.

@Muumi
yes , four times actually

Does this make me your new god?
Although to be fair I think at least half of them are terrible.

EDIT: New page get?
My powers are already growing!

Four times? That's cool, especially since music segments only have a few songs each, while Drawfriends can have anywhere from 20 to 50+ pictures in them.

My stats on EqD are currently at 2 Drawfriend headers, about 15 features in a drawfriend, and somewhere around 10-15 news post header images. I also got invited to the members of PoniesPlus at deviantART, and an invitation to DarkVoxis's iPonies, (but which didn't join at the time).

And I want moar!

I really need to get rid of my laziness though. It's been over a month since I've gotten anything drawn, due to Skyrim, IRL relationships, work hours, Fallout Equestria, and the internet on general.

At the moment, I have an unfinished picture of Pinkie breaking the fourth wall (and maybe the whole world), a humanized Fluttershy scetch (already traced to proper paper), and a scetch of battling Rarity and Lyra. I've also got lots of other ideas for pictures and a comic, but I just don't seem to be able to start drawing…

Okay I know I'm several hours late, but I support the idea of a discussion club revival tonight. I've been busy as hell too.

@Muumi and Lolstaz: You guys should both be proud. You're such artists, and I wish I had the talent you guys do.

And yes, Lolstaz, singing is hard. What sort of equipment do you use for your recordings? (ps I'm a recording engineer in addition to being a chemist, so you can tell me)

@Opspe
let's see
I use a se2000 condenser mic (for vocals and acoustic), a studiospares active DI box (to plug guitars and basses in), an M-Audio FastTrack Pro audio interface, an electric drumkit, a cheap Epiphone Les Paul Studio, a not as cheap Ibanez GSR205 bass, Guitar Rig 5 for guitar effects and a Akai LPK25 MIDI keyboard.

Not bad sir. I tend not to use condensers so much because I mainly record classical, but that's pretty good for a home studio, I must say. What got you started into getting such a setup?

@Muumi & Gigatoast

Good artist my ass.

Check this pro chubby of Angel I just made.

Now I sort bitches and memes on KYM, AND I'm an artist.

@Opspe
It's funny actually. I've been recording music for ages but I used to do it with a terrible £100 pound acoustic and a rockband usb mic lol. Eventually my dad noticed that I'm always recording stuff and would occasionally come home and say "I BOUGHT YOU A (piece of recording equipment)!" and that just kept happening until it got to this point lol. I already had the instruments cause I'm in 2 bands.

Lolstaz – That's nice of him. And using a USB mic would be, well, pretty pov, I gotta say. So good thing you got an upgrade. However, there remains one question. Can you coil your XLR cables properly? Because that's the ultimate test.

Random – Y U such a beast?

'Macho Man' Staz wrote:

@Opspe
Yea, he's really supportive. Oh and about the cables, I searched it on youtube, tried it, messed it up, watched it again, messed it up again, watched it a third time, messed it up once more and then gave up.

My job training is now requiring me to hate you, but I…I just can't bring myself to do it. Take this instead.

Now I must now go shoot lasers at toilet paper. For science.

The Vinyl Scratch page's update needs some serious grammar edits.
To be honest, I didn't check any of the other pages….

I got a bit of the grammar done now.

If you see anything more, please post it here or make a suggestion to the page.

So what have I missed besides the new ep?

BRONIES. Y U NO READ WHAT YOU MISS?

Let's see…

  • Nintendork was here for a while (he's cool now).
  • We discussed the last episode at length.
  • We made speculations on the next episode.
  • Everyone got drunk (especially Blue Screen).
  • Ivan said some crazy shit.
  • There are a few new members around here somewhere.
  • Gigatoast did some awesome art and it got drawfriended.
  • Verbose got everyone mad.
  • There was a really awesome SynchTube party.
  • Muumi is our God now and we must bring him our virgins.
  • We're still Random's bitches.
  • Everyone's planning a late night tl;dr discussion tonight.

So, yeah, it's been pretty standard around here lately.

Hey everyone, help Ingram get an Emmy! Hit up this link, if you haven’t seen it yet.

I don't watch other shows, and even though I really like the music, I don't watch enough of other cartoons to compare it and give a proper statement as to why Find a Pet (aka FAP…find a pet, find a pet, find a pet, find a pet, find a pet…) is Emmy worthy.

Ponies still aren’t nominated for Best Animated Show.
And Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and Robot Chicken are.

That's a shame. Not because of Ponies, but because those shows aren't nearly as good as they used to be (or ever were good.) It's probably straight up "mature" bias where people think that a show for kids cannot be as good as a show for adults. The nominated ones are well-known animated shows for adults, and so they probably got the nod for that and little else.

I think if someone could sit down and subjectively watch some of the better written episodes, they'd give FiM more props than what it has. Not to mention Adventure Time or Regular Show.

Ain't that right, girls?

Yep.

@Verbose: Heehee, he said fap.

And I agree with your statement. It's a shame that those shows are candidates. I'd pick adventure time over those. As for MLP vs Adventure Time. I'm not gonna pick favorites.

Pfffff. Like that is going to stop a colt…….
Besides, now we've the forbidden fruit thing going and you know how the mares dig it. Way to make things easier for a colt Celestia……

Dear God, this. Seriously. Anything made for kids is automatically labeled as inferior. It's an unfair bias that would probably be swept away if someone actually watched it.

It's an older model but gets the job done
