I'm grounded from YouTube and that's where I watch my ponies.
But wait… I'm ungrounded on Saturday and that's when ponies are…

Have any of you guys ever thought of what happens when the little girls who watch the show grow up and find out about our fandom? Or worse yet, what happens if the only remaining evidence of our fandom are all the clopfics?

I get it. I just… what?

God, I wish I was Twilight in that pic……..but yeah, Conor's just joking around. He understands your A.J. thing (At least, I think it's yours, could be someone else's. I can't remember.), but that's not hippocracy. That's just him posting interesting stuff. Anyway, find me that style pic with a girl dressed like Luna, and we have a deal.
The photo's aren't mine if that's what you mean. I just found them in the image gallery.
Connor is just being Connor, I know. I just have my SRS BZNS moments from time to time.
Speaking of serious business, I came across this video in the image section and I felt it belonged in a place where a message like that can be properly heeded… Frankly this was needed 9 pages back.
Some people are still a bit confused by the Derp controversy but I feel like this is the best argument made so far. From now on I'm going to point people to this if they ever bring it up. Long live Derpy.
@Blue
I meant that I remember a conversation about someone liking A.J. the way I like Luna. I couldn't remember if it was you having the problem or not. I know the images aren't yours, I see everything before it makes it to KYM due to DA. I remember them fron the watch stack.
@Pyro
Yea that was me and Phoneix.
I don't actually have an AJ thing though, I made the whole thing up on the spot.
@Connor
Yes.
@Blue
Good. Nice to see my brain's not too fried. As for my Luna issue, I ain't bullshitting you. I'm serious.
@Conor
More pics like the Luna/Celestia/Twilight please. I wanna go to bed with at least some happiness.
Yes please stop that Rarity!

1) go to ponibooru
2) switch filters to only show explicit
3) search Luna
4) ???
5) profit!!! (and clop fuel too)
I got grounded for like 6 horse today and my mother let me watch television but she specifically clarified " No my little pony". I'm not kidding.
Sorry, BSoD. I couldn't take that girl seriously due to the voice acting (not that it was bad, but I was expecting an argument, and I needed to hear it seriously.) I probably watched a minute of it before having to stop it before I got annoyed with the voice.
I didn't agree with her argument either, but I didn't hear the whole thing, so she might have been trying to make a larger point.
Have any of you guys ever thought of what happens when the little girls who watch the show grow up and find out about our fandom? Or worse yet, what happens if the only remaining evidence of our fandom are all the clopfics?
I've given the first question some thought. Once they grow up, they'll know that there are some people who are different/sick/however they choose to define them.
As for the second, that speaks to how the Internet will evolve. It'd be a new scenario. However, I think that the highest quality fanfiction will still be referred to just like the best literature is. As such, I think that there will be a mix of things. For every Jenna Jameson, there is a Julia Roberts.

Damn, 6 horse huh? That sucks! I got grounded for eight horse once. I used them to pull my budweisers though! LOLOLOLOL
@Verbose
That girl had her own share of mental disabilities. That's why she deviates and expresses some eccentricity. But if you watch the whole thing, she gets to the point. I'm used to people who talk like that so I watched it through.
In a matter about the challenged, I'll take the word of the challenged over anyone else's and that was one of the words I took.
@Carlos
If your mother banned you from watching MLP, I wonder how she would react if you watched South Park, Ren & Stimpy and Drawn Together?
Fair enough, BSoD. I probably won't watch the rest of it, but as such, I won't address her point any further.
I've got a version of this questionnaire better suited for accepting a lot more responses. If it makes sense and there aren't any typos, then I will humbly ask Random and opspe to take the next steps. Meanwhile, I'll type up what the survey is supposed to do, what it asks, and how it's different from other surveys.
Of course, it won't be the length of an academic paper, and a hypothetical Calpain and/or Sethisto probably won't be interested in reading more than the Abstract or an Executive Summary, but in case they are more curious, I can go into each of the items.
Enough talky. Survey here. You don't have to click answers again. I just need suggestions for any changes since the questionnaire has changed. If you would and are good at proofreading, please check this to see if I made any grammatical errors. If you think I can phrase a question or responses better, then let me know that too.
I can't make much open-ended due to time and analysis, so that's not really up for discussion.
And since I've been out, maybe Ponibooru has something that I can post.
I thought about posting the most recent Jappleack tumblr posts, but that was just depressing.
I've also went back to one of my first comments on the article. I used "everypony."
Oh, God…
And this is how I learned that Algernon is awesome.

Makarain from Everfree North West basically sat down with Habsro's head of PR and Marketing and asked some questions.
If you want the gist of the interview it's basically:
Hasbro are cool with the bronies, they're just trying to come up with a sort of strategy of how to work with the bronies regarding things like conventions and the like (they've put a freeze on VAs and people from the production team from appearing at Conventions in order not to spread them around so much)
Oh!
And stop emailing them about Derpy, they got the message.
@Phoneix
Thanks for that. More good news
@Verbose
Would Luna's little physics hack actually work? The energy she builds up while falling towards the center of the moon would still be lost as she moves away from the center. The gravitational pull of Earth Equestria will cause her to come out faster than she went in, but I'm not sure it will give her enough additional energy to escape the moons gravitational pull.
Algernon! Where are you?
Now for the questionnaire. Please ignore the blank submission you got. That was an accident. I didn't mean to click that last button.
I have a feeling I am partly responsible for existence of "Deist" in the religion section since I answered 'Agnostic Deist' in the previous version of the survey. (Perhaps better worded as Agnostic/Deist or Agnostic Theist)
I feel I should point out that Diesm is not really a religion but a philosophical framework for religion just as Thiesm is not a religion itself but a philosophy that religions base themselves on. Therefore I don't think it belongs there. I would have picked Christian/Agnostic instead as my religion in the current survey.
That's about it for existing questions, I think the rest will suffice and the new shipping question is much better.
If you want new questions, you can ask if Bronies really consider Derpy to be offensive. Without making it too political you could set up the question as so:
Were you aware that Derpy's portrayal in 'The last roundup' came under controversy regarding disabilities?
-I was aware of this
-I was not aware of this
How did you feel about Derpy's portrayal in that episode?
-I have disabilities and it offended me
-I have disabilities and I did not care
-I have disabilities and I loved it
-I do not have disabilities and it offended me
-I do not have disabilities and I did not care
-I do not have disabilities and I loved it
I know I can probably already tell you what the response to that question would be. It just would be nice to see some cold hard facts for those who incorrectly assume that "everyone" hates Derpy now.
You could also try to gauge the Bronies political spectrum too (Liberal, Conservative, both, neither) but that probably won't tell you much.
@Artwork
I'm noticing a forum user called BulletproofBrony because he finds some really good artwork, check it out:
So much D'aaawwww!
@BSoD
Those question suggestions are a bit too specific in my opinion. Verbose wants to get an overall idea about the fandom.
But perhaps a seperate section can work, for the more detailed questions surrounding the fandom. Stuff like your questions, but also how a person overall feels about bronies reacting to trolls/haters/bad news/etc. Amongst other stuff.
@BSoD
Give me the link to the original of Pinkamina and Clyde. I almost literally need it for my story, please!
I also thought of something to discuss!
PinkamIna or PinkamEna?
I spell it with an 'i' because if it was spelt with an 'e' it would be pronounced Pink-a-may-na instead of Pink-a-mee-na. I also have a friend named Amina who's name sounds like A-mee-na.
Discuss it, discuss it NAO.

About the moon debate: Firstly, I'm going to ignore the fact that the moon has no atmosphere for Luna to breathe. The moon has a core of molten iron, therefore the whole argument is invalid. Ignoring that, Luna would not feel the gravitational effects of the Earth Equestria while she was on the moon, so if she tunnelled through the core, the moon's gravitational field would cause her to oscillate around the core, until finally coming to rest there.
If you don't believe this, I'll direct your attention to Newton's Law of Gravitation:
The gravitational force depends on both the mass of both objects, and decreases over distance squared. Calculating it out (assuming Luna weights about 400 kg and that Equestria and its Moon are identical to Earth and our Moon):
Moon-Earth: 1.982 × 10^20 N
Moon-Luna: 5.283 × 10^4 N
Earth-Luna: 1.089 N
As you can see, the Earth's Equestria's gravitational pull on Luna is negligible compared to the Moon's. So, I declare this to be debunked. How's that for overanalysis.
You want to know why I dislike FiM? It's not because I think it's a little girl's cartoon. I watched Jem and the Holograms and She-ra growing up. I still watch She-Ra on Qubo Nightowl and as an adult think it's a better written show then He-man. It's not because I am afraid my friends would ridicule me for watching it. I have plenty of personality quirks that they ridicule me for and I've gotten used to their good-natured ribbing.
It's because it succeeded and Spliced failed. Spliced is just as, if not more intelligently written and it references internet memes. Yet, it's relegated to 4 a.m. on Qubo Nightowl. And everytime I watch it, it reminds me that these are the only episodes I'll ever get. And everytime I see something posted here about new episodes of FiM, it reminds me that I'll never get new episodes of my favorite cartoon. So put yourself in my shoes and imagine you only got one season of FiM ever and then this other show comes along that the internet won't shut up about. I think you might be a little bitter too.
That's why I refuse to watch more then the first 2 episodes and I tell people that sure it's cute and intelligently written but it's not really my thing. Because I refuse to watch more and possibly let it be my thing. So, yeah I'm bitter and I post pics making fun of ponies here and I revel in the thumbs down when I do. So, I just had to get that off my chest.
tl:dr I hate ponies because they are more popular then my favorite cartoon Spliced. INB4: Pony related pics of Haters gonna hate.

So the other day, just out of curiosity, I decided to read My Little Dashie. And wow… It was good. It wasn't the saddest thing I've read, but I noticed I can't stop thinking about it. It stays with you.
Maybe it's because I've always liked human crossovers/self-inserts. Something about taking a fictional character and bringing them to our world, to reality, has always appealed to me. Maybe it's because the story felt so lonely, like Rainbow Dash was the only thing the main character had in his life. But I'll admit that near the end… I teared up a little… Just a little…

That's a really lame reason to hate a show. I mean…I can understand if you hated My Little Pony because Spliced got cancelled and replaced with FiM (I still hate Ice Road Truckers for getting Dogfights: The Greatest Air battles cancelled on history channel) But these are two unrelated shows on two unrelated channels that have nothing to do with each other.
I mean….Megas XLR only ever got two seasons and it was one of my favorite cartoons ever. I didn't start hating Kim Possible because of that cancellation :P
@Weapon0
You just jelly cause something you like got the network axe and something we like replaced it.
You can't control how the ratings go. Good shows get the axe. Bad shows get tons of views.
Thankfully for us bronies, a good show has gotten tons of views and has no signs of being axed. Sadly for you and thousands of other fans of good shows, yours didn't do so well in the ratings.
Being bitter about something you can't control is a bit illogical and somewhat selfish. Yes, its sad good shows fail and others succeed but this is life. And it never has to make sense.

I know how this is bro. If I had my way, Jersey Shore, along with most other reality shows would be off the air in a heartbeat, but alas, I can't control it, nor can I use the DeLorean to go back and have them canceled for fear of creating a time paradox.
@Weapon
I get where you're coming from. I was completly heartbroken when Samurai Jack was cancelled because some other crap they said was good took over. But do I hate it? No. Am I mad? Yes, but I don't hate the show because it replaced my favorite cartoon. So please, find some other reason. There's plenty other than what you chose.
Well, that G4 is more feminine then G1 person was banned…again, and not a single person was surprised that day.
That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if they make another appearance, though of course, should they, that'd be ban evading and that leads to…well, more bans.

But without Jersey shore, we wouldn't have " come at me bro!"

Well, at least one good thing came out of it, but that's it honestly.
