Do any of you have dreams about ponies?

I, personally, have had several. One was simply Applejack sleeping at the foot of my bed, snuggled around my feet. It is still, to this day, my favorite dream of all time. It was simple and perfect.

Another I had involved waking up in the lair of the green dragon that chased Spike in "Owl's Well That Ends Well". I ran for a while away from him, avoiding his fire, before I tripped. As usual, I woke up before I hit the ground.

Those are the two most vivid dreams I've had, the ones that I remember most of. What about you?

it seems that the majority of people who post in the forums aren't the same ones who post on the images and frequent the comment section of the MLP entries XD

Uh, yeah, two actually or at least that I can remember. First one involved pinkie pie and I as cops breaking a pony brothel for bronies that had ponies "do stuff" against their will. The other one had me making out with humanized rarity.

I had one dream about ponies but it felt like it lasted for 5 minutes, it was about me carrying a present to one of Pinkies Party, the box was to heavy so I had to put it down. Then all of a sudden Pinkie Pie jumped out the box and began the party where I was sitting. References to MLP do slip into my dreams now and then but they were not significant to my dreams.

Dac….I can assure you, that is nowhere near as bad as mine. Trust me, some things are better left unheard.

I had one that was fused with minecraft as well. I was Twilight from the Stalkerloo tumblverse and working together with creepers and other ponies we had to build a Nether Portal for Tyrant Celestia. Was nice.

One that I can recall is when I was in a store with the cast of Red vs. Blue. I was chatting with Caboose when we saw Fluttershy. I think he started to mock her, Sarge killed him, and then I moved on to something else.

Regarding the topic of dreaming about ponies; I sometimes dream about ponies, but I can't remember any of them. I just know I have. But lately my dreams have just been… blank.

On an unrelated note, have some ponies mixed with Diablo 3.

@Concerning number of Bronies:

I definitely think that 100k-200k is an underestimate and 10 million is an overestimate. Just simply judging from the amount of art, music and games coming from the community, 100k is far far too low.

Like Algernon said, EqD has about 180 million pageviews. If we were 1 million, everyone would have to contribute 180 page views which seems reasonable until you realize that not everyone goes to EqD. Most people from Ponibooru and /mlp/ never go to EqD at all, casual bronies may never go the website at all either (I know I have several pony loving friends that haven't even heard of EqD).

My estimate would be .5-1 million. I know that seems large but you have to realize that 100k-200k is a drop in the bucket when talking about the Internet.

I mean, Sniper Elite V2 has sold over 400k copies. Does that mean Sniper Elite V2 fans outnumber bronies?

But that's enough about me, let's talk about you guys. If you could date one of the characters, would you date the PONY or the HUMAN EQUIVALENT?

First, welcome back.

Second, yeah, the posters here and in the comments often seem like two different groups. Some prefer the comments, but most discussion still takes place here. This thread also has less issues with trolls.

Although a reason might be that users aren't aware of this thread. Knowing how Zarathh was all "Holy f*ck! We have a thread?" in his first post here, it certainly is possible that more people don't know of this thread.

@Propper: I would date any human equivalent if it's drawn by JJ or Megasweet. But that's just me. Especially the way how JJ draws them…

Great dicks think alike I guess. I Couldn't agree more. Megasweet pinkie and JJ applejack are my favorites.

To be honest with you all, the whole pony dream…
I actually had a night terror of one that involved ponies…well not ponies but the characters from the show in human form…
And it involves mostly just Pinkamena Diane Pie…..
I was in my house…all was asleep, I was at my front door and turned around and see the stair case that I was gonna go up to my room and sleep, because I thought I was still awake for some reason.

Then suddenly I saw her on the ceiling over the stair case, I saw blood coming from her body and she was moving like crab style (you know like that one kind of crab walk you use to do back in elementary school). She let out a loud screeching roar and she moved so fast that I was paralyzed by fear because of it, and her fingers were missing and bleeding as well…

As soon she was a inch from me…in that split second..we made eye contact…I could of sworn I could read the true meanings of insanity with in her eyes…so much pain, hunger, fear, and other emotions I have never felt before. I could of sworn I smelled blood when I woken up too…but I guess I had a nose bleed.

But I am assuming this could be all of your reactions in a nutshell:

As for which human…..

Rarity's probably the hottest. Pinkie's probably the most fun. Twilight would probably be the smartest. Fluttershy would give me instant, incurable diabetes. Rainbow Dash is all athletic and brash and shit (Chris would be all over her).

I'd probably go with Applejack, though.

Brought my brothers to Zellers today.
I haven't bought any MLP related merch. But we were talking and so somehow we ended up buying a bunch of toys.

No regrets. Buying was awkward as hell. But we do have a 5-year old Niece so we used that as an excuse. Thats my brother in the pics.

I once had a night terror, but it didn't involve ponies.
There was this guy in an old dilapidated mansion. I believe there were spirits there, but the only one that I can remember was a mother and a child. I can remember their heart linked them together, and to be able to get rid of it the man had to go find the mother and stab her heart with a steel knife. The mother was immobile and couldn't move from the place she was at. But the kid was the creepiest part, because he chased the man all through the mansion while the man was looking to destroy the mother. The kid also had a syringe full of something that looks like the ADAM from Bioshock. I remember the man not being able to escape the kid. The kid then proceeded to stab the man in the wrist with the syringe and inject the red-like fluid into him. I then woke up. I could feel where the kid stabbed the man with the syringe on my own wrist. Weird, huh?

I think with my brain, not my crotch. So my love for Chrysallis? It's not sexual attraction. It comes from a deep respect for the art of a character, and everything about her. I haven't seen a villain like that since the older Disney films. True, the episode didn't go much into her backstory, but so what? She's still a lovely character to see and wonder about. In short, Chrysallis is beautiful to me.

Don't get me wrong, I do think Twilight is adorable, and she is my favorite pony. But no, I haven't had any dreams about her. I've had two dreams of ponies, and that's when I first stated watching the show. One I honestly don't remember much about, and the other was like an watching an episode. It had Pinkie, Applejack, and Rarity. I wasn't there, or at least I wasn't interacting with the ponies.

That's about it. I haven't had a dream about ponies for over a year now. In a way, I'm a bit surprised that I haven't. I probably enjoy Pony discussion more than anyone else here, and I spend a lot of time browsing Ponibooru, but I just don't dream of ponies.

I guess it's become something else I think about a lot. Sports, ponies, girls, friends, school, food, the future, my faith…it's an important thing, but it's just a thing.

You can probably find logic for most people, but let's just say I'm not most people. I'm one of the few males in the universe who isn't really too moved by money or sex.
IRL, I've actually tried to shut out sex appeal to anything, and try to view something for what it is. This came after morals I grew up with, and seeing how trashy the world was in regards to sex,(which conflicted with said morals). In reality, I can't really explain my love for Chrysallis (my last post was a bit redundant then) I just do. You can probably find a grain or two of real sex appeal to something if you look deep enough in me, but it'll be miniscule.

Nope, never had one. Like Verbs said, it doesn't really take that large a part of my life in order for ponies to enter my dreams. Maybe I just haven't been a brony as long as some people, I don't know. Or maybe I'm not that big of a brony.

Obviously, if I were to date one of the Mane 6, I would prefer them as human. Do you think I'd even go out in public with my GF if she was a horse? Let alone do all those other things people in intimate relationships do.

As for which one, I would obviously pick Twilight. Yes, she's my favorite pony, but a large part of that is because she reminds me of a girl I liked (a lot) back in high school. They're both smart, sarcastic, etc. I'm not going any further into it. It's one of those stupid high school stories that isn't worth talking about.

Regarding humanizations:

I actually really don't like humanized ponies. It's not that I hate all of it, it's just that the majority of it I see is a humanized version of said pony put in some incredibly skimpy attire. I find problem with this because I'm one of those people that deeply respect women. That also means I don't watch porn. I guess that means I'm chivalric in a sense.

And even when it's not some skimpy humanization, they just don't appeal to me that much. I'm more of a fan of the incredibly artsy, scenic type when it comes to pony art. Like this:

Well, this is going to be a real predictable turn-out, ain't it?

I suppose that means I must play the wildcard and say that I'd rather date the pony version.

Why's that, you ask? 'Cause humans are fuckin' boring, that's why! Think fast, how do you tell folks apart at a glance most of the time? Probably clothing, yeah? Look at us, we're a species so bland in appearance that we need to resort to covering up our bodies just to feel slightly different from the rest of the mass.

So, if given the choice between the same old shit we've got plenty of and wasn't all that good to begin with, versus something fairly unique, interesting and incredibly adorable, damn straight I'm taking option numero secundo. So yeah, basically I want to fuck a cartoon horse. So what? You want to fuck a hairless ape with a grossly elongated body, flat face and oversized cranium, so I wouldn't exactly say you've got the best qualifications to make judgments about this sort of thing.

Now, I ain't saying the ol' Homo Sapiens is unpleasant to look at by any means, it's just so damn everyday and predictable that it takes all the bloody fun out of it, in my opinion. And this is pretty much strictly a question of aesthetics, given that the personality is the same regardless of body type. And in the endgame, it's all about the personality, ain't it? Physical attraction only takes you so far, even if some of us have less reservations about it.

But then, do you have all that many reservations about it, really? Or could it be that you simply haven't given it all that much thought? I constantly see people claim they "aren't really sexually attracted to ponies" but if I've learned anything, it's that people have a tendency to lie through their teeth, especially to themselves. How about a simple thought exercise?

Think back to the days you first learned about sex. Took a while to acclimate to the whole idea of fucking another human being, didn't it? But now, it's a natural, pretty much integral part of your thought process, no? No doubt you've constructed several scenarios of a romantic evening in your head during those idle moments when there's little to do but daydream. Now, keep those scenarios exactly the same, but replace the girl/guy with a cartoon pony. Quite jarring at first, no? Much like those awkward attempts to build those scenarios in the first place, yes? See where I'm going with this?

Ah, but I digress like hell, don't I? Enough psychoanalysis, which pony would I date?

Fluttershy, easily. Because I simply cannot resist adorableness of that magnitude. Nor can I resist the instinct to protect the weak and innocent, knights are all about that after all.

@Brownmane: I give you props man for being honest, and I respect you for that. I lol'd at your post, but it made me laugh even harder cause I was listening to this song. But anyways, back on topic. I'm not a furry, nor am I sexually attracted to ponies, but I respect the opinions of those who are. I prefer humans, really. If I had to pick a humanized pony to go out with it would have to be AJ (cause I love southern girls, and I am a southerner myself), Vinyl Scratch (cause I think we would get along just fine), or Rainbow Dash (I have no clue why RD, but she seems nice. She's also best pony).
