Also, now that I figured out how to browse through the deals in that generator, I'm looking at the cutie marks, and some of them such as the hot dog and bacon make me lol. Wonder what the special talent of those ponies would be.

Goddamn, I'd think people would learn by now.

So I had an idea. What would you guys say to the thought of the show including maybe a popular fan OC character as a background pony. We already have our Derpy's and now Vinyl Scratch seems to be making another appearance (if they say her name in the show or give her lines like Derpy, I will have a stroke), so really we're not far out from slightly more extreme nods like that. What would you guys think of that? Good? Bad? Harmless? Rage-inducing? Or what about if it was a reward for a contest or something? Would that change your opinion, for better or worse? Or, if they were to do that, would your rather it be a surprise random fan OC, rather than something you already knew about?

Just wonderin'.

Apparently my friend had a bright and loving idea to show me that flash.
Needless to say I had a love and tolerating idea to punch his stomach.

One, Derpy was canon already, much like the Fluttertree gag. It simply ascended in both cases, and only for certain in the case of Derpy. And Scratch has already appeared in an out-of-universe shot in that massive Con poster over the summer that had all of the characters
Two, those images aren't likely to be from actual scenes.

I would rage, because most FC's (to take a term from Gigatoast) aren't appealing in design. I would hope DHX wouldn't have to be subjected to that since they already have to introduce toy characters (like Blossomforth) in the scheme of a plot without making the episode appear choppy.

I don't want to see fan characters in any regard on the show. Derpy was plenty. I really don't want anything more extreme than that.

I agree with verbose. I don't want any OCs showing up on MLP. It just wouldn't feel right.

Yeah I got to agree with this post and the others. Even though it would be amazing to see Ric on there, I would prefer to remain mostly unheard of, even though I am famous on KYM standards. I still think it would ruin the fun and the thrive of ones obsession.

I use Paint to make ponies…

I would use illustration if i had it but pencils work just fine. Not that much of what i draw is even remotely similar ponies to be honest.

My point is you should get a vector program like illustrator, and maybe a tablet.

Yeah, I know I'm late. I'm still typing my thoughts on the episode.

The episode was great. I swear the animation is getting better each episode. Or maybe it's because I usually don't watch ponies in 1080p.

Also, the mayor's pink mane and Celestia's cake binging was great, and so was the Trixie mention. My favorite part of the episode was Big Mac's largest speaking role. It's great to see his character get a moment in the spotlight (Hearts and Hooves didn't count). I imagine the reason for the Applejack/Big Mac role reversal was because Big Mac's angry voice is a lot more intimidating, and sounds more like an angry father yelling at his daughters.

So yeah, good episode and all. Cliches as always, but what can you expect?

I may have said this before, but I'm thinking the finale might be the best episodes in the season. It's really looking to be good, and Hasbro and Studio B are really putting a lot of effort into it. Or maybe just Hasbro, since the episode might be done already.

Also, I hate to say this Cite, but it's possible Vinyl might not be in the episode. Same as Luna (sorry Pyro). It's likely that the images released are purely promotional, and so for the fans they'll try to pack in every background pony they can.

Rather than pirate/buy Illustrator I just use Inkscape for my vector drawing needs. It's completely free. Google it, download it and see how it works for you. You've seen some of the stuff I do with it in my image gallery

Instead of a tablet & pen, I used a high quality gaming mouse, but its still hard to do it that way. Mark my words; get a tablet or else you will need a ton of practice

This sucks. Another reason why I hate Texas weather.
It was 90 degrees this morning. So pretty calming.
BUT
During our final class the skies darkened. Then believe it or not it starts raining.
I thought nothing of it. The dark skies were creepy though. As soon as the final bell rang
it was raining a lot. Soon after 5mins the streets were actually flooded. Then what makes it
worse is that it starts hailing (falling ice). Another thought occurred to me. I have to walk
half a mile through hail and rain, cold water in my shoe, and no umbrella.
Needless to say I'm kind of sad.
Anyone got something to cheer up a soaking wet Texan?
