I have to say this whole thing is absolutely hilarious! On one side there are Bronies overreacting and puking rainbows over it, on the other hand there are butthurt haters clenching their anuses in aggravating pain over it.

In the middle are people who see it for what it is: Some guy is a Brony, yet somehow that is rustling an incredible amount of jimmies! Those people are just mocking the situation and having a really great time.

The arguments, the shitstorms, Poes Law, Godwins law and the epic trolling. This is glorious!

While the show may end, the fandom itself will still be around for a long time I bet. That's usually what happens when you make a good show, a good franchise (or bring a franchise back and make it good) and I'll be a member of said fandom until my dying days.

Thats kinda what Im gettin at.

The show is almost over. 3 episodes left. As time passes and no new content is available, people get bored. No new images, no new macros. No new artwork based on episodes, etc. People will loose interest.

When the show is over for good. No more plans (at least G4) people will leave the fandom quickly as no new content is available, they've seen the images, heard the songs, not much to do.

A little back story is needed, I suppose. This account was made for the sole purpose of trolling. A user made this account and gave away the password. I logged into the account and changed the password. I suppose this is my account now.

You could argue they were in character, but their character traits were extremely over-exaggerated. Rainbow is quite brash, but I don't think she'd go as far as to purposely ruin someone else's day.

It sort of reminds me of the Mysterious Mare Do Well, in which Rainbow's vanity was portrayed to the extreme, and we all know how terrible that episode was.

Also, none of the ponies seemed to have minded the articles until it featured them. Are they really all that insensitive to other pony's feelings? I think not.

Sure they are. I don't think that is a wild stretch of the imagination, Twins. Think about it: we do this in real life all the time.

We love hearing about how much it sucks to be other people, that's the essence of gossip. In fact, that's all that gossip ever is: to detail the failures of others for ourselves to smugly pride in. It's human nature to do that and according to the episode it is pony nature to do that too.

But when we suddenly become the subject of gossip, only then do we learn how much it hurts. The episode nailed that. Rarity kept telling herself "Oh it's just words. It's nothing to be offended by" but then she changed her tone quickly when those words became about her. And Rarity is the snobby gossip character of them all

Twilight was the only pony that showed concern about gossip. Why? Because she was the smart character of course.

What you can take from this episode is that the characters may be colorful pretty ponies but that doesn't mean they are always nice (Especially Dash). They have character flaws.

Tf2 is fun. I like it. But there's always that one group of people that makes it bad. When they heard about Gabe being one. They were utterly pissed off. I was the only one who liked it and instead they told me to "Fuck a pony elsewhere"
Needless to say I proceeded to dominate him, insult him, claiming that he's mad, and spawnkill him.

And yea, people are pissed off. No doubt about that. But I honestly expected a worse reaction. Maybe the Steam community isn't as bad as I thought.

I've been playing TF2 for only a few weeks and I totally get what you mean.

Every loss must mean the teams were imbalanced and must be shuffled. Weapons in the hands of good players must be overpowered weapons. It's the maps fault you suck, votechange the map halfway through the game, that will surely fix it, yea…

To be fair, some of that is standard gamer behavior and not a sole TF2 thing. FPS gamers have been crying 'HAX' since Quake 1. It's part of their nature.

I think the server I have been playing on lately is fairly well mannered though (relatively). No hax accusations, no mother insults, no whining and only one case of Trollgineers putting the exits of telporters away from objectives.

I did run into one legit hacker though. Trust me, when real hackers appear they are actually quite obvious: Snipers that score headshots across the map on cloaked spies while facing the wrong direction, Heavies that move faster than a scout, spies that score backstabs at a distance. And furthermore doing all of the above in a single game and bragging about his 1337 haxx0rs later…

Whenever a good player dominates you and you suspect shenanigans, just remember: When people cheat…you will know it.

I actually find TF2 players to be quite well mannered and lulzy trollers than other FPS games like Call of Duty where I am subject to a torrent of abuse everytime I play.

It might be because I can pick and choose the servers I go on to but…. My friend was a console gamer who I converted to PC gaming and he got TF2. He was such a console gamer he didn't even know that R is the standard reload key of every FPS ever but nearly every server he was on had supportive players and he just selected that "Play Now" button that assigns you to random servers.

Now World of Tanks…..don't get me started on that.

I didn't say the TF2 community didn't have it's assholes but it does have a significantly higher proportion of lulzy fun people than other SUPAR SEREES MILITARY FPS SHOOTAS!

It's art style and gaming style tend to contribute to that mood.

I have to reflect what Phoneix was saying though. There are TF2 servers out there with really competent players who do work together and aren't just douchebags

You just need to find them.

I found about 2 servers that have common regulars that know each other. They like working together and are happy to cooperate if you do too. Had some good games with that lot.

This was the same server where I met that hacker, but one immanently banned hacker wont stop me from going back there again, that server had some good players.

Some Bronies play there too, I played with "Princess Luna" a couple times. Good medic

Switch to Back Burner, they call you a noob
Decide to use Shotgun for kills, they laugh at you
Get a Spy, he calls you a hacker
Get top score on server, they call you overpowered, W+M1 (which I find completly offensive, by the way) and complain. Then Valve listens and weakens your weapons and it's not fun to play anymore.

And people who say this are the idiots. The Back Burner robs you of using the airblast effectively so it renders you more vulnerable to Soldiers. You still have to know what you are doing to use it.

That's why I always play Medic.

Only retards call their main source of survival a noob, and they tend to die, a LOT.

Not to mention the Blutsauger can leave Demoknights, Scouts, Spies, and other Medics in a bloody heap, if I use it right.

I honestly love my Degreaser. It goes well with the Reserve Shooter so I can weapkns heckle those stupid Scouts right back. Add that to the fact that I'm a Gas Jockey, I'm too fast for the rest of them. Still, they just can't make up their minds. I remember when the Phlog came out and everyone I ran into liked it. Then, they immidietly changed their minds when it started to overpopulate servers with Phlog Pyros. Dammit, I loved that weapon. Now it's no longer fun to use.
